Actually, this show was on par with Naruto back in the day, so it definitely has potential. It's kind of disappointing they didn't animate the last arc. did you just say Naruto is complex...? dude... yeah the art style of One Piece cartoonie but that allows the Manga/anime to be more free and adaptable with the story. Allowing it to be more flexible in art styles and to help convey the narrative. As a fan of a lot of anime, One Piece has the most complex story and characters in the story. even the Logue Town dog Poochie has great character story for being just in a couple episodes. i don't mean to sound like a hater... Naruto is awesome but One Piece is/has the greatest narrative in ALL of Anime/Manga. i love dragon ball for thew power scaling feets and Naruto shows what determination can do. One Piece is all of that and more with some devastating disasters to characters in that story. don't let the art style fool you but One Piece is more depressing then you will ever know until you watch it. oh i may be late to the convo cause i see you got addicted by it.

One piece is a ridiculous anime compared to others but it taught my generation how to respect others and yourself. It also taught my generation to respect the value of the dollar. From the beginning Luffy taught us why it's important to be observant and respectful.
