this route is fantastic and it hasnt changed much andrew murphy memorial fb hold their annual parade in may every year along this route...wishaw true blues fb 4:14 shame the fluteband is no more.. wee eddie mcrory on bass drum was top class, i think netherton road fb are after them then the county fb then newmains then law covenaters fb then wishy purple heroes now defunct craigneuk true defenders fb carluke primrose with a youthful loking mr hislop

big hislop is diff class in this prize band, i miss them still when the marching season comes around!

this is the morning parade in lanark before the main district parade in wishaw, the band are sounding amazing , i notice that in the 80s our bands generally played and marched alot faster than today, ps what about the white sport sox everyone is wearing

its actually in wishaw 9 miles from lanark, over 200 bands from norn iron wales england scotland 2 from canada 1 from new zealand and america... the park is belhaven park next to king george the IV football park. the pub called the hub was well known to locals, wishaw true blues fluteband and wishaw purple heroes flute band and no longer active, bailies lane fluteband and drumgelloch fb are also defunct i think , ill try and name others as i watch FGAU

@bunty1986 Fixed, Clogher are in one of the earlier vids in Armagh, had just noticed the similar uniform and mislabelled this video in a rush last night. Cheers.

the band at 6mins 30 secs isn't Clogher..although it does look a bit like us. it's Tamnamore i think going by what it says on the bassdrum...although i'm not sure. but it definitely isn't us....we never had them uniforms. excellent vids

@afcwinners Also check out the Armagh parade I have up, it has Hillhaven wearing this Bessbrook uniform and Bessbrook wearing a newer uniform. Could help identify the dates.

Yea, I had meant to label Bessbrook in there just ran out of time goin through them last night, unique uniform. They're also in one of the Armagh parades im gonna upload over the next few days. Cheers though.

Armadale Flute Band appear in one of the other parts. I've added McClelland Memorial and Tandragee Sons of Ulster to it aswell. Good spots. Cheers.

@weeman231480 No problem, been meaning to put this up for a while. I'm in the process of going through the other clips i've put up to add tags to them all and list the bands in them. Very hard to do it with only small glimpses at the bass drum, impossible for a lot of bands. Can't identify a lot of the uniforms either as i'm not familiar with most Scottish bands.

Reckon this could be around 1986 or so.

Brilliant cant wait to the next time.
