We are back in Brazil for an another adventure, this time basing ourselves in the seaside city of Santos, home of the largest/longest beach side garden in the world and part of the state of Sao Paulo. We arrived on Christmas Day 2024, celebrated the new year in, Brazilian style and then spent the following weeks exploring what Santos had to offer, including a week break to visit Salvador, the capital city of the Brazilian state of Bahia.

Two great fishing mates conquer the Donnelly River in search of the popular Black Bream. With the first day being very successful catching nearly two dozen fish (released all but two), day two was not as successful, but trolling the Donnelly and taking in all that it offers makes for a very relaxing, enjoyable time.

At the time the flooding of the Fitzroy River Basin in the Kimberley was record breaking, 2002. It was necessary to travel to Fitzroy Crossing for a meeting and supplies.
