It definitely was and similarly had my suspension stiffened up as well. Not a good day for it lol. Can't say I was a fan either, but I'm absolutely loving the Beta! It gets better each time I've rode it. For being a 200, it's got all the power I'd need and tons of bottom end. It's a blast to ride!

It’s extremely beat. Feel like it’s been pretty rough the past 6-7 years. He’s been mixing up the layouts a fair bit.. but either way, it’ll beat you down.

@@Kemmich414 I bet! I used to race it back when cyco was apart of the SOCCS series put on by Jay Wile out of Humboldt. They had that track there in Humboldt that was up a steep long driveway.. (this was 15 years ago, I think they sold their land and do other stuff now). I was amazed to see Wyatt Wilkins doing awesome on quads.. I remember watching him on 50s when I was on minis.. if I’m not mistaken I remember when they first added the old 50 farm to the series.. if memory serves it was with KRS series, put on by the Kellough family (Josh is my age we raced minis and such). I think they were the first to use that track, but I could be wrong. Been out of the loop for awhile.. the ole knockemstiff ridge runners series.. it didn’t go far and died off, however they had the best/technical tracks. Always had fresh stuff… and Josh always rode the heck out of the track, and definitely cut it a time or two.. (just screwing with you Josh if you see this one day). 😆. He’s also in pro class now. Alan jones, Josh, I miss racin with them boys. I stopped when I turned 17/18 and now I’m 29… so I’m like a C rider on a good day 😆 kinda funny I just raced this weekend and got last in two classes on two days, LOL. But my first race on a big bike coming from a mini at 16 I got 3rd overall & lapped all of B class 😆 don’t use it you lose it.. them boys stayed with it & run pro now.. I push hard for 3 minutes and I can’t hang on safely 😂 ahhh. Nostalgia… heck that first race on a 250 was at KRS.

It was also KRS I had my best race ever on a mini. That day was magical & out of the hundreds of races it was the only time I won an overall on a mini. Had a fresh motor on the 85, had the points lead, lapped 3rd place 2x and 2nd place 1x… lapped em all & toasted that top end 😝 but that was a one off lol between Keller, slopko, stumbo, Alan and Josh it was hell tryin to win 😆

@@goinhot9133 That's definitely a long time ago! I nearly forgot about KRS, never personally raced one but watched Nathan at quite a few on the quads back in the day! It's wild to see how far Wyatt and others have continued to progress over the years!

Alaska would be pretty rad! There definitely were rocks everywhere under the dirt, I wasn't expecting that at all when first walking a few parts of the track prior. The trails there were sweet, definitely had a great flow. Thank you!

Thank you!! It really was, I enjoyed it a lot. I did calculate it myself, took a few minutes but that was what I came up with by looking at others times ahead of me across the different classes.

They just posted updated results with the overall thankfully. Lap times would be super nice to have! But for sure, see you out there 🤘

@@shipley7417I did, but unfortunately it only recorded the first 4.5mins of the first lap + the 22mins I was hung up on the rocky hill bottleneck. I thought I had stopped the GoPro mid-way through the bottle neck then started it up again when I took back off finally, but I didn’t press the record button firm enough and it didn’t get the remainder of the race. Pretty bummed because I was ripping at the end haha 🥲

Thank you!! Honestly it was an impulse decision. Originally I wanted another 2 stroke just for casual trail riding because I didn’t get the same enjoyment out of going slow on my 250fx. But after riding this 250x for a few hours I ended up loving it so much more. Biggest thing for me is the weight difference and how easy it is to flick around/handle this 250x! It doesn’t wear me out nearly as much either being 20-25lbs lighter

We went up and fist bumped him on the line. It’s a beautiful bike and awesome that he’s out there racing it! Cheered him in every time we saw it go past. But unfortunately I don’t believe I have any other videos of him

Sorry, just now seeing this! But no kidding, that's 100% the name of the game currently as I have minimal skills and experience. It's a whole different beast than the sport quads, but I have definitely seen improvements after the last few races. Absolutely loving the new challenge!
