Comanche vs Apache: The Epic Rivalry That Shaped the American Southwest
Sorry folks but this book has a been proven fraud. The state of Texas has no records of such Ranger service.
Having been to Enchanted Rock it’s important that it be represented as a granite dome not how it’s represented in this recounting of the battle between Hayes and the Comanche. Other than this depiction error this is an informative historical rendition.
You have a good show. Keep up the good work.
Great analysis, thank you! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
They were savages.
Great job. Thank you for all the effort to build these 21 videos !
Panatica? You mean penetanka?
Very nicely done, great photos (paintings?). The ferocity of the of the Comanche is well known--amazing how massed gunfire from entrenched positions can hold off cavalry charges such as this. . .and the rangers have apparently not benefitted yet from Henry and Winchester repeating rifles. They did this with those Sharps single loaders!
This narrator telling us the sick torture of the captives by Comanche was somehow ok? What? 14:00
My grandfathers both. Homesteaded inches area in the 1870s. Both of rhere ranches were at crossings at the Beaver River. I was born in Beaver, 1950.
Painful to listen to. Such florid language is ridiculous. The use of such extreme language deprives the text of any meaning. Such a waste for an amazing story that is so important to Texas history. The nauseating repetition is inexcusable, the twisting of facts painful.
Now see how you’re making up these lies to lie about it the first you must understand that we already were here and it’s not so much of the mixing you’re lying about that and I understand why you have lied but let me tell you now all of Our Ancestors our ancestors…. are pouring all around ….. The horrors of AI !
🙄
Commanche were monsters fs make apache look like hippies!
While your video makes & has a lots of nuance ,than those calming the 1st Native American were Africans..I find your take very perusable..But one element that I find still needs more explanation, why would those of a admixture of Black & Native be shipped back to Africa & than some are brought back..?? Never heard of Africans being brought to America than shipped back, for what reason..? It seems most would have not survived..Also the PBS series , Finding Your Root's; with Dr. Louis Henry Gates ,says that a lots of Black people clamed that they are part Native American but very few are, by their DNA test..They have white ancestry DNA..I've been a fan of this show since it's inception going on 12 season, & I've only seen a couple of African Americans on his show with sizable Native American DNA..Also why are Native Americans themselves not talking about this admixture.? I lived in Minneapolis, Minn at one time, that has a large Native American population. Thier were a group of Black men & Native women who had sort of their on tribe tother with their children..Also the famed actor Woody Strode is part Native American Cherokee ..I find your video very interesting. Not into the FBA thing, ..But your video is very interesting. It would be nice if you ad some DNA data to this video or article that one can check out..Side note The film 12 Years A Slave 2016 had a couple of scenes Of the enslaved Black people , together with Native Americans..
Henry Louis gates is a fraud 🤣 most slaves came from South America and the Caribbeans before they brought any African here 👍🏾u talking that white washed history
Skip Gates is part of the establishment. The DNA markers used on FBA are always African, never in the Americas. I am not a genealogist/ geneticist, no where near it. As a matter of fact, your academic accomplishments probably far exceed my own. However, I am a 64 year old man (FBA), born in Jim Crow Georgia, and had the privilege to encounter many people born prior to the 20th century of my lineage. Most, if not all, referred to themselves as Colored, yet they would speak of their indigeneity to this land. Likewise, my birth certificate describes the birth of a colored baby. These people, mostly relatives, never put a name on any particular tribe, but would insist that their lineage was of this land. It caused great confusion to me and the other kinfolk that had just integrated into white schools, where they taught Indians were red with long straight hair. We were overwhelmed with those images. My relatives would point out facts about things like their knowledge of the land, and how their medicine was better than that of white doctors because it was older. They delivered babies, me, and cured every ailment with natural cures. I have to believe what was passed down to me, especially when the evidence presented itself. Also, Columbus and many white explores reported of seeing, what they thought were Africans here when they arrived.( Columbus 'Diary). Furthermore, he reported of succeeding to get 300 slaves from this land back with him to Spain. There you may find the beginning of what you're looking for. Oh, FBA is a lineage that the descendants of Freedmen have chosen for themselves, and i like it and agree with it. Remember that i speak from genealogy not DNA. Have the best day you can have..Peace👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
The rest of the world had discovered math, science and metallurgy. They had invented cities and civilizations. North americans were still using stone tools and boiling water in animal guts. They were ten Thousand years behind in development.
My 2 grandkids down in S New Mexico have Geronimo DNA. A couple of little spitfires.
respect
This video sucks.
Ongelooflijk wat de kolonisten en de USA regering deze mensen aangedaan hebben in hun honger naar land.
I am loving these stories. I am a history guy. I was wondering if you are working on any material for episodes on chief Four Bears of the Mandan nation.
What a Trip, and to survive these bloody Barbaric Savages ! Well they were and thats how most Red Natives big, small rich, poor, man ,woman ,&no matter social status & education they got were described . Even in school public too boot teachers either called them , or school mates, anyway, last l heard the name Savage was in 1972, Now...EVERYONE Loves to be called Savage. So cool and safe. These soft snowflakes no nothing of these words. All waaaaa when feelings get hurt. Especially women. Hehehyukyuk enjoy the cold January savage day .
Blackfoot , Cherokee & African I AM , shared talks with my Grandma. I embrace them all. A'ho & Ase. ⚖️
It is wise to remember that mankind has been killing one another from the beginning. Wiping out other neighboring tribes assured more resources for your own tribe. All peoples around the world were comprised of victorious tribes that dominated their neighbors. Cruelty , harshness and unforgiving was pretty much the standard method. We can stand back and learn about it but few now live it as it used to be. There is still the same thing going on in a fashion but it is achieved in a more “acceptable” manner. There were no innocents, just survival and it if we were knocked back down into an ancient way of life, we would do it again. I will add that Christianity was the beginning of the idea of peace, certainly not overnight but is evident in much of history.
Nice video, but alittle bit too much repeating the same thing you just said 👍🏾 looking forward to more videos 😁👌🏾
Just looked it up: the book this is taken from is widely regarded as a hoax fir the many inaccuracies in it.
UA-cam is flooded with these AI made videos. I don't think this is by accident but to systematically dumb down the masses. Just look at the comments and how people lap up the bs that so well meets their crude ideas about "survival of the fittest" mixed with pseudoscientific kitchen table psychology and pushing manipulative "historical justice".
Quit trying to glamorize the Comanche as they were sadistic savages who loved inflicting pain on whoever they encountered but if you study the tribe it is fact that they only preyed on people that they had the upper hand. If their opponents were equally matched they would avoid the conflict.
Do not forget that the Vikings had settlements in Canada and on the US east board over 4000 years ago.
The US created the nuke and the US will....by the nuke.
7:37 Amazing! The Comanche on the right is wearing a Rolex. Must have a good swing. One hundred years in the future he'd get one playing golf.
My gran mother in law lived amarillo. As a young girl she exited her house to see decorations on the gate posts of their neighbors opposite. As she approached joyfully to investigate she found they were the heads of their neighbors. America was made in blood, quite recently, which affects it till today.
Wow this is brilliant. My Dad loves American Indian history, he'll be intrigued and a happy bunny.
Have a guess were scalping came from u may be surprised.? I'm English and very sadly we started it by scalping Indians sad hey.
Hey😊
There's not one Black African registered in the Simonal tribe in Florida. This is a recent narrative by a cult of USA Blacks who claim to be everyone and their grandmother. They claim to be descendants of African slaves when they boohoo for reparations and change it up when they wanna culture vulture. Really? Did you mention "your tribes " during your civil rights movement? Did you mention the slaughter, the enslavement, and every treaty broken by the USA? Hell no, you didn't bc you didn't know anything about the Indigenous ppl, and your civil rights movement was just about you. Now you wanna be them. The tribes you mentioned probably sympathized with the Blacks as the REAL Native ppl of the Americas were enslaved in much bigger numbers than the African. Now, they have been given an inch and take a mile. Stop being so intrusive with the Natives. This recent BS narrative is just that. Black USA BS.
Shoulda wrote a book ! But , it's ok ✌️
It's weird how many of the photo's and images this channel uses when depicting American Frontiersman are that of South African Boers.
How come a plains native is named Spotted Leopard. There are no leopards round that region.
We all know that native Americans are from Africa, but many black African Americans don't want to accept it, but even the first European settlers were black from Europe
@Cosmo988p You're extremely delusional 🙄
@Cosmo988p You are full of Cape buffalo dung.
Just because you "black" don't mean you from Africa
Why do you keep repeating the same part?
Disgusting cruelity that 2 century later explanations do nothing to actually explain in any believable or forgiving way.
All African American connected to the African tribes.who created native American the African who created civilization
@FernandoWilliams-o1n You are too Africanized. Is you Blood or is you cuz?
@@FernandoWilliams-o1n You don't make sense. Africa is Africa and had nothing to do with North America and South America. We never knew that you existed until the white people brought you here, and you black and white people never knew that we existed here. Not even your gods knew.
James Hugo Johnston "To the visitor in the South the physical characteristics of many negro slaves bore witness to their Indian origin." 1937 doctoral dissertation at Virginia State University
Great vid! Is it possible the Comanche were an ancient vestige of Mongol tribes that came through Siberia? Their mastery of horses seems genetic in its evolution.
There was an Indian called "wooden leg", does this prove a pirate connection?
Let's be honest; The Comanche were just as busy pushing the Apache off of their ancestral lands.
The Comanche; what a nice bunch of folks.
@@geofffelsing1283 kinda "Homie" and down to earth, one with sadism?
