Great gig. Got my Stranger than Kindness book signed by the man himself afterwards. Hard to think of an artist who has had a more productive lockdown. Red Hand files, Bad Seeds TeeVee, Carnage and among the first to tour. The hero we need.
He's quite a cool dude - but don't tell my wife I admitted that!
Big Country classic!
This is just after the dickhead lead singer verbally abused me and embarrassed me in front of the entire audience for checking my phone between songs to see how my sick girlfriend was... on a day where I was feeling near suicidal. I'll never forget how that shithead made me feel.
That was a great gig
I haven't seen The Stranglers since 1981 but was at this show after I finished the ironing. Hugh's lost his hair and turned Geordie, and Jet looks much younger.
Great night out agreed. First time Stranglers gig for me. I believe that the drummer is not Jet; he doesn't gig any more with them
