I helped build that trail and am glad you appreciated our efforts! Next time let us know if you saw the Smiling Dragon.
We do appreciate all the work that went into it. Next fall when we are back in the area we are gonna do the loop in reverse and we will film it once again
We had a great time and lots of fun. Thanks again for the invite.
So glad you guys were part of this great night!!
hello good sir
Phenomenal hike guys, views are great and simply enjoyable! 👏👏
Thanks for your kind comments.
WOW, just beautiful.
It was indeed!!
Beautiful, keep on hiking!
Thanks, we love these mountains!!
Absolutely!! Yes ❤
What a beautiful view in the middle of the forest there is a river too
Rock slab! 😊
Yes indeed
This was interesting hike! I like the fact that you were very descriptive of the hike and elaborated everything so nicely.
Thanks for watching
Worth every step. I know what it took to get you there. Well done ❤
Thanks sis
Cool area, love the rock formations.
We had a blast. Could have spent all day scrambling around those formations. We will go back
@@billandsheilahike7959 If you get the time you should check out Cumberland Falls about 2 hrs from there. It's one of the two places in the world where you can predictably see a lunar rainbow 🌈 at the falls during the full moon.
@@douglynch9012 sounds amazing. Thanks for the info
It was a pleasure to meet you folks. You certainly had a great day for hiking. Hopefully our paths cross again. Take care.
Thanks for watching Doug. We still have some sections to do around your area so we will be in touch down the road!
Another wonderful adventure, lovely hike, great scenery. Thanks for taking us along & have an amazing day.
Thanks for watching. We love making these videos
Thanks for sharing this video. I enjoy your enthusiasm and found the trail footage useful for verifying conditions for an upcoming hike. Just FYI, the PeakFinder image shown at 5:53 has the peak labels improperly positioned over the image . You can tell for sure because the labels point to mid-ground peaks as Mt. Washington and Mt. Adams, even though the image shows higher peaks behind those spots. But Mt. Washington is the highest peak you could possibly see from S. Moat, so there can't be any peaks visible beyond Mt. Washington in that pic. If you shift the entire set of labels up and to the left, so that Mt. Washington's label points to the highest peak along the ridge line visible in the background, you'll have everything lined up correctly. Similar situation for the image at 5:57. Mt. Kearsarge North is the high peak at the left side of the frame, so all the labels need to be shifted up and left again. PeakFinder includes a feature that lets you do that (press and hold on the labels to adjust before exporting, I think).
Thanks for the peak finder information. I will put it to good use in the future
Beautiful hike!
Thanks. The colors were spectacular
That hike looked beautiful. Have never been there, but will definitely go now
I think the way we went ccw is best. You work to get up the cliffs and end with Arethusa falls but most important…take the bemis trail back the last mile back to parking. Steep downhill to bemis and the other falls but so worth it. Dozens of people on Arethusa trail, we were the only one who took the bemis trail
That was a super cool video. Honored to be part of it.
We were so glad you guys were part of it
Nice hike and those views!!
It’s hard to beat views like that on a 6 mile 2100 feet elevation gain hike. More videos to come! Thanks for watching
Really cool on the mine, along with a great view. Nice video.
This is a great hike. The trail maintenance done since we last hiked this in Sept 2021 made this so much more enjoyable. Thanks for watching
Didn’t you love that hike!?
We loved this hike. The trail was so eroded when we did it Sept 2021. You can hardly believe how much of a view you get for so little work. The mine was underwhelming but still glad Sheila found it!!
Looks like such fun.
It was a blast. Not a day to worry about keeping your feet dry though!!
Nice hike.
Thank you for subscribing to our channel. We are back in NH now for more adventures. New videos out soon
My oldest daughter and I are planning to hike over in that area tomorrow morning, but need some tips
Awesome scenery
Nice hike! 😁
Thanks. It was your recommendation when we met you at your car after trail running just below watercolor knob on the BRP a few weeks ago. I assume you have hiked to the airplane crash up there. We like scrambles, roots even a little mud so I suspect we should do that one too?
@@billandsheilahike7959 Yep - the plane crash it not to0 far beyond Waterrock on Browning Knob. You can also take the same trail over to Mt Lynn Lowry.
Thanks for the info. We will definitely check it out on our next visit in June

Thanks for taking us along! The hut looked pretty forlorn.
It was being shut down for the season. Thanks for watching. We love making these videos. More NH hikes coming this September. Currently we are hiking closer to home in the Carolinas and making videos of those
You two know how to have fun.👍
Thanks JoAnn. It’s not all rainbows and unicorns but we try to laugh and make great memories
Beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here :)
Thanks we will follow your journey’s as well. Much more to come from us especially in North Carolina this spring and summer and New Hampshire this fall
Outstanding video
Thank you. We love making these videos. More to come in the spring

Lots of fun in the winter!!
Colors are starting.
It looks like we will be near peak in a week or two
Really nice hike guys! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. We love doing these videos and have many more NH 52 WAV hikes planned in the coming weeks
@@billandsheilahike7959 you're welcome 😊 we really enjoy making outdoor content also
How long was that hike? You left at 9:15a but not sure what time you made it to NOC. I'm looking at doing this real soon- trying to find a shuttle company so I can leave my car at NOC and get a ride up... Thanks!
It took us 8 hours. We are not fast, plus we took an hour break at cheoah bald. It’s a long descent down to the noc. I use website whiteblaze.net to help with shuttle drivers. Also comments on Guthook app for shuttles in certain areas. Enjoy the hike. Thanks for watching
@@billandsheilahike7959 Thank you SO very much! Trail magic before I hit the trail! I'm trying Alltrails but there isn't a good mapped route.. Looks like South is much better than North with the decent. I'll check out that site for the shuttles. Thanks again!
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. New here can’t wait to see more videos!!
Welcome to our channel. We post all our trips. Plenty more to come in 2021
Nice one folks looks great
It's a lovely trail isn't it? I hiked it while on the AT. (Not all of it). I could see myself coming back down from Michigan to rent a bike and ride it a ways. thanks for sharing.
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
@@billandsheilahike7959 you bet! We really enjoy making outdoor content also
Very nice, thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching
The route to the east hits the summit of BlackRock and also the treeline where BlackRock and Pinnical Trail meet. It's a hell of a hike but worth doing at least once, both the main trail you both did and also the BlackRock trail, which is super hxc too. And you can camp at the top! I used to live at the bottom of black Balsam essentially. Proud of you guys! Easy to be caught in wild weather there.
Next time we are in that area we will check out going up That trail. Have spent this summer and fall in New Hampshire and maine
This hike looks pretty intense going straight up for miles! Nice footage from the top! Any other trails in Sylva that you recommend? Just subbed #15!
Thanks for the sub. We did to your channel as well. Next town over from Sylva is Balsam where you can pick up the Blue Ridge Parkway and the mountains to sea trail plus you are near the smokies. Tons of trails within 1 hr drive
Hiking New Hampshire Anytime my friend and thank you for checking out my channel as well. Thank you for reminding me about the Blue Ridge Parkway. We definitely need to take a drive on this while we are in town. I was planning to hike from Fontana to NOC but the rain looks pretty intense next week so I would rather hike a 7-8 miler versus 30 miles in the rain. Keep making videos and I will see you on the trails. Cheers!
Nice video, thanks for sharing.
Mark Cummings thanks so much. We love making these videos. Please consider subscribing
Looks like a great place to hike. Wish I lived a little closer to NC!
