2019 Ford F250 Death Wobble fix. My issue was: My death wobble was only occurring at 65 mph after hitting a bump on high way. It would get really bad. Would have to slow down quickly to about 25mph to get it to stop. Took it to dealer this vid explains what they did. I personally took on test drive after fix and i must say the truck is 100% back to normal. Feels like a whole new truck. Hope thi...

03 SRT4 Oil Cooler Delete/DIY Big Filter Kit.
Переглядів 4,7 тис.7 років тому
Found oil in my coolant, culprit was my oil cooler. Figured ide share my experience of deleting the rascal and replacing with a DIY big filter kit and by passing coolant lines.
both bolts holding in the Alternator are 14mm? same as tensioner release bolt?
6 minute video, cut out literally all the unneeded stuff. No long story, no telling me how you used to work on the farm with grandpa and replaced alternators while standing on a cow. No story about how Toyota made Scion. No video of you standing by the car and the story about how you delivered a baby in the backseat. Just you, giving every step, doing the step, and giving tips to make it easier. You deserve a medal for this. I would kill for every other car repair person on UA-cam to follow in your footsteps.
took me long enough to see this! i appreciate you! I made video in that head space.. I also hate all the chit chat. get to point and lets rock n roll! ty agian!
Thanks for the post. Going to dealer soon.
Good information man...just came across this in my 04...keep posting ✊🏾
My dumbass stripped the tensioning bolt cause I was trying to twist forward..
I feel you in that one! I think we all have had our fair share of moments like that.. especially loosing the 10mm haha!
Do you know why it was overcharging?
Voltage regulator within it goes out.
Ok thanks
Fix build ford tough with Chevy stuff.lol
Exactly how I done it on the bottom bolt lol
Great minds think alike! Lol!!
I payed 190 to replace mine Just labor Save alot of money like this
I bought a 2012 f350 and around 65mph it has a wobble but goes away. Would you say this will probably be my issue? Everything looks tight. I am planning to replace steering stabilizer and track bar.
Thanks bro
Np!
how to repair that step 1 don't buy a F250
how many miles were on it when it started?
john doe 6,000 miles
@@srtdrew1436 wow..i wasnt expecting that low. I have a 2019 with 13k on it and so far no problems. Out of curiousity do you have the snowplow prep package? Im wondering if that is the difference from ones doing this and ones that dont
john doe no it doesnt. Its a texas vehicle hardly ever sees snow lol.
Have a 17 F350 and my steering started getting loose around 14000 miles. Dealer did exactly what you had done and 6000 miles later parts were worn again. I have actually had the front end worked on 3 times now and have about 45000 on the truck. I just leveled, installed different caster shims and am adding a PMF dual steering stabilizer. I just think the stock stabilizer and parts being used are not quality durable products. Adding the different caster shims to add caster actually helped a lot and the dual stabilizer should add even more stability and add life to all the front end components.
I have a possible solution Get a Chevy
True for eliminating the wobble. However, the Chevy might fall apart while towing a heavy fifth wheel😀... In this case I might just keep my ford f350.
Could you just bypass the coolant & those Nozzles on the oil cooler but leave the stock (small) filter ? So you don’t have to buy 3 gaskets?
david palacios no because if you left the coolant ports open or capped the oil would still be leaking internally onto floor (if ports bot capped) or would build pressure eventually and pop off your bypass or caps.(if you capped the ports on oil cooler) Only options are: 1: Do as i state in this video 2. Buy a big filter kit from modern performance 3. Simply buy a new/good used oil cooler. The benefits you gain by deleting cooler is not having to every worry about this leak again. The cons of just replacing bad oilcooler with new one is that one day this could happen again.

Nubzies Drew okay , soo with the big filter the whole oil cooler part will be completely removed?
david palacios correct. Even with the 3 gasket method you completely eliminate the oilcooler. What your doing is creating a bigger gap for the bigger oil filter to clear and not hit oil pan
Nubzies Drew yes I understand, you don’t think I could cap off or put a line that will connect to both the Nozzles on the oil cooler for now till the kit comes in ? I just need to drive a hour to get the car home
How long did it take to fix it
Luis Iniguez 20 minutes
@@srtdrew1436 thanks ima have to change mine this week
Excellent video. I am considering buying a 2016. Glad to see this is easy to change
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Nooooo
SRT TOM why
GoodFellas Car Society stacking gaskets
how much horsepower did you get from the cam from stock?
ITS H0Vi Baby! The cams are in the neon not in the R/T but if your asking about the neon id say about 30hp 4krpm up
I think that sounded like a neon with cams! lol
Yea haha got a fee people already haha
