When Tshisekedi came to power he tried to attract business people but the Government was more and more focusing on foreign business than depending on its people more. Another thing on my side, business environment side in Kinshasa or Matadi might be good but the rest of the country not working at all.__ from me on 2023 I transported machines to Uvira city (East Congo). the transition from China to Burundi was very smooth but the time I tried to get it to the border __ I face almost different DGM people and all sort of government people asking for fees. This year again with DGM in Lubumbashi, I tried to import some machinery but then I was charge the double amount of the price of the items, etcs__, no control so ever. The other things to consider is business security another big issue in the country. A army general can messed your business or anyone with power can messed you up and be messed up.

When i flew to Uganda 2020 and I was asked for YELLOWFAVER and is required when applying for VISA to fly to Uganda. But when I went back to Uganda 2023, they didn't ask me for the yellow favor card because my passport shows I was in the country recently. Lucky no need for a second yellow favor when traveling to Africa cause it's forever after YELLOWFAVER vaccination. Heads always carry the yellow favor. You never know who is at the migration window to stamp your passport he or she may ask for it.
