My review of the Loke Battle Map Board and it's many uses.
Thank you help a lot dude!!!!❤
I have one of the updated Loke books but this two-book series is amazing. Looking forward to getting many more in the near future as my adventurers (I am DM for a group of 3) will be gaining their own stronghold soon after clearing it out and needing to gather a force to take out the big bad!
Great channel, looking forward to see more!

you mispelled lake on your youtube title.
That intro was EPIC!! 😊
Great video and great kit! Thanks.
Thanks for the video! Very helpful for deciding!
2d terrain is extremely under rated.
Thanks for the review. I like how you show the versitilty.
I want a picnic blanket like this
Excellent job. Thanks for taking the time to do these reviews.
Who made the top down monster tokens you use?
I like this system. It's functional, saves money and looks really nice. And you don't have to fiddle with polarities.
OMG that is an awesome intro!
I'm a fan of 2.25-2.75D … I've got two kinda warring disabilities that impact things. One of them is more of an issue because I'm often the GM, but they both factor in. First, I'm legally blind, so I can't just see lines on a battle mat because the contrast is often not there what with the ground image, the grid lines, and reflection of the lamp off the plastic-coated mat. Second, chemo causes me chronic pain and has greatly reduced what I can carry and how far before I fatigue, which matters because again, blind, I have to carry everything and usually on busses and trains. What's a GM to do? A lightweight mat that's nearly indestructible is a good start. EVA foam (think foam dice/kids' craft foam) Doesn't texture worth a damn. Gridlines and paint are the best you'll get without layering it. Half inch 2D walls. works. Can't use top-down mini tokens either, bot online-style tokens are fine, or might be if not for my players who'd riot if they couldn't have character minis. 🤣 Everything else gets to be foam bottom-weighted bits of foam with stick-figure quality faces and numbers on top of them.
1985 games make some neat stuff. They have really nice ones in a VHS style box and foam.
Thanks for the review! Been thinking about grabbing that castle set as it looks awesome. Might get the town set too.
I've just watched your first, your second, and your third iteration of this kit. I figure by the time you show off iteration 5 it's gonna fit into one of those old grade school cardboard pencil boxes. About half a sheet of paper and about 2.5 inches thick … That. Except you might use a plastic or other version to be a little more rugged. And I'm looking forward to seeing the evolution!
Best part is making a dungeon of the non-trapped side of the cards, "accidentally" revealing a tile, and saying, "ignore that". :D
good review and nice product
Muito bom o vídeo! Tks for vídeo!
Very nice product.
May I ask where did you get those display shelfs for your minis at the beginning? (In your backdrop)
I have a couple of those and are amazing to speed up prep time. You can also mix and match with any other terrain and look great. I think something I would like to see more in this kind of reviews is how to mix and match with other brands. And maybe create some ideas to steal from. Keep it up !
These look good
When i saw the title i thought you got some dice that were nearly 40 years old lol They are nice dice
LOL!
The intro is astonishing and very nice tip
Is there a link for them somewhere?
The link is in the description.

Thank you. I just somehow could not see it where it probably was plainly included in the description.@@rpgdiy3301
Quick and informative video. Thank you.
In the description.
I saw these, when they started doing this, cool matts!
Love these. They are made in the USA. Alexandria RPG Library has some that they loan out at events.
I saw that at ECCC this year. Luckily I'm running games for them, now.
Gonna have to stick to 3d printing at that price👍
Thank you
I LOVED YOUR INTRO DUDE WTF HAHA
I'm thrilled i found these products, this one looks great!
nice
hay fun intro! very helpful review.
Your costumed intro sequence may be the best UA-cam intro I've ever seen! I love the vibe. Brings me back to when I made little home videos with my best friend and editing effects for hours.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Stalagmites are like termites ... They build nests from the ground up. And stalagtites ... Let's just say the older they are, the more they start to hang.
Stalagmites= They MIGHT grow up to the ceiling. Stalactites = hang TIGHT to the ceiling.
@@samurguybriyongtan146 - Ah, that also works! Though, a cheecky breasts reference somehow always is easier to remember for my brain, not sure why ^^
G is for ground, c is for ceiling
@@nmoney000 - Ah, that doesn't work in my native language, but it's a good one for English!
@samurguybriyongtan146 that's the way I remember too. 👍😊
This looks like a great option for terrain.
Thank you for the review! It's always great to see what's out there other over priced "mainstream".. it keeps the creative juices flowing!
Thanks for the review. Dungeon and cavern look good, but they are not so dirt cheap as the name implies.
Holy bleep, I clicked the link and you're right... I'll stick to cardboard and maybe some hobby paint from the kids, not a huge loss in esthetics over dirt cheap plastic, but at least free.
Nice look at all the variety of mats. I have two of the UDT style. They're great.
Biggest gluestick i have ever seen! I thought it was a big bingo marker! 😂
For the record i love that wall!
Between buying and 3D printing, it keeps growing. Around another 150 minis are in storage boxes.
Back when I was playing a lot, it never occurred to me not to carry everything I owned everywhere. (It wasn't really everything, but it weighed twice as much as me anyway.) Of course, I drove so I had the room in my car. But when I look back now, what was I thinking?!
Looks great. Though this is not DIY, as per your channel name. This is product placement. Product placement is not an issue for me. But it's not DIY
Imagine a channel called Dungeons Product Placement 😅
Actually, it's in the review section of my channel.
Looks quite good. I may have to see if I can find those sets near me
I found them on amazon, but i would ask your friendly local game store first.
Where are you?
@@rpgdiy3301 UK, NOTTS. Unfortunately we never seem to get good stuff here lol. I asked at my local game store and they are going to ask around for me. If not i may have to resort to the dreaded Amazon
@@Crits-Crafts ah.
I have the largest dungeon, largest cavern and the regent castle! It’s really great stuff!
I've actually have purchased a few from them and I would agree amazing product.
