Actually, that's what I decided to do. I did a little research online and found someone at the Gardener's Supply who knew about succulents. I cut both off and bought some succulent soil. She said to wait a couple of days after cutting before placing it in the soil. I also got a shallower pot for it. I'm going to post a video showing it.

I live in Vermont. We don't have the kind of sun you are talking about. It is fine where it is. It is about 8 years old.

This is the first time I've seen one at my property in Vermont. We usually have the daddly long legs type of spider.

Oh no! You had rabbits. We don’t seem to have them on this property. I’ve seen woodchucks and raccoons but they leave them alone.

@@CarynConnolly only the stems are left but they had already bloomed so they will return next year. Darn rabbits..but they are so 😍

If it's later in the summer, it can warm up enough to feel comfortable. I don't think the Pacific Ocean ever feels warm no matter what time of year--but I'm open to hearing differently from people who are at the Pacific Ocean often. I've only visited a few times.

There were surprisingly few for being at the ocean.

They were amazing and then got buried when the tide came in.

It was the one with the angel on top of what looked like a ball of thread. It was called Sofia's Cradle, I think. I'm sure I posted the video. If you go to my channel directly, you should be able to find it under shorts.

@@novocaine251 I think the reason he didn't win was because it didn't quite look finished--but I wonder if that was his intent. If it was supposed to look like an angel fell into the ground, it would likely leave a pile of sand around that area.

​@balancedexplorations it looks almost complete though. If you flip your phone upside down, you'd see the other part he's working on is the right wing of the being in the crater. Looks to me like he's trying to give the impression of a broken arm and a wing dislocated from the fall.

@@novocaine251cool observation. I didn’t realize that. I think he left it like a crater though-the last time I saw it up close. But everybody was excellent. I think there were 10-12 entrants and only four prize winners.

I love them! They had one flower on them the first year. Two flowers the second year. About twelve flowers on one plant. Then, they started growing new plants around them and we have five or six this year, each with multiple flowers. I think I got the bulb at Lowe's!

I have a background in engineering, and it looks like some mechanical parts inside an interesting oval shape.

I was in the path of totality. This was about 20-30 minutes before totality, so it wasn't dark yet. I do have a couple of videos I took while it was getting dark and another one until it got light again.
