Honestly fair enough, I mean the main argument I have against anti-immigration people is, look at their kids, or their grandkids. No matter their race or origin, if your kid grows up in the public school system, they’re gonna grow up as American as the kid next to them in class. This isn’t a bad thing- rather, it helps our children understand the flexibility of the American identity. The important part is our agreement on democratic institutions and the peaceful transition of power.

So the gas companies bought up huge supplies to prevent shortages. The price went up, so production stayed the same. Later the same thing happened again, the gas companies responded again, so production stayed up again. The third time the gas companies thought it was a bluff to rise the prices again and ignored it. So Opec massively cut production causing oil shortages driving the price through the roof. The whole thing was caused by greed and trying to save a buck.
