Damn I wasn’t even born , look at colonia , wish they had something like this today
Sexy hydrants
These are the tools the FBI uses to enter your residence for spying.
Martin, Fire was on June 6, 1994 in Virginia Beach
There is a cruel irony that a man died trying to save the man who killed him. They went in to look for the elderly person who lived there, and the fire was his doing. One of the two men convinced has already died in prison.
Awesome video thank you for post them
Is that Randy or Lamont in the dunk tank? I was the kid that walked up and dunked them hahaha
Thanks to all the volunteers/ tradesmen involved in restoration of older apparatus 👍👍,from MN 🥶
Work well.. but they expensive, ..
I remember that firehouse well
Good to see Rk Smith in video
Steve Cover operating the Tele-squrt
Could you imagine this pathetic fat ‘cook’ picking a male body off the ground and carrying it? Maybe you should exercise instead of trying to feed mouths?
Awesome! Thanks for all you have done and gone through. You are a true American Hero and Patriot! God Bless the USA!
Still better than Omaha Beach June 6 1944. 50 years prior
Jesus this was 2yrs before i moved to Colonia. Class of 04 woot woot! 😂🙈
absolutely my favorite fire museum ---not a velvet rope type of museum
I'm not a firefighter, but basements seem to kill a lot of firefighters. Why?
Kevin, many times the fire in the basement has weakened the first floor above. When firefighters enter, the floor collapses.
Like they said above, basements weaken the normal entry floor. Other factors are that most basements are open - few dividing walls - so fire can spread over a large area. Most basements in older homes are unfinished, so there isn't a drywall ceiling to protect the floor joists. Basements like this also frequently contain gas piping. Almost all basements, even walkout basements, don't have as many windows and doors to see the fire from the outside, and that also means fewer escape routes. And lastly, that I can think of off the top of my head, is that older homes with balloon construction allow a basement fire to travel to the attic almost instantly.
@@hughwoatmeigh6999 very well said. I would say all of that, and the lack of proper scene size up (360) and adequate training on how to spot things such as a basement fire are all big factors in what make basement fires so deadly to firefighters.
I want to help my local volunteer fire departments. Thanks for this video. Anyone have any other good fundraising ideas? Comment please!

Love the ladder 16 response
What an amazing achievement to dismantle the old firehouse and rebuild it as a superb museum!
Nice collection
Great vid
Been to this museum before. A bit cramped & dark from memory though @ least the city has one. Wished there was a facility to store all the other vintage fire apparatus.
1 - Townhouse fire 2 - Ladder 16 Responding to a call. 3 - Burn drill at Camp Pendleton 4 - MVA
I remember that Fire When I lived in Va Beach
Looks like Brooklyn
I see my daddy!!! Captain Dean DaSilva!!!!
Wait.. What??? What class are you? Lol
This is what is wrong with Brave and Heroic Internal Attacks without knowing where the fire is or fighting the fire from the inside out. "You find what's burning with a 360 and put Tank Water on the Visible Burning Material before entry." Had they done that here, they would have used the cellar windows to drench the fire before they could get fully dressed and get the front door open. Even if the fire fighter fell through the floor upon entry, the fire would have been out. In a desperate situation like entering a burning structure, floor testing won't take place. With the fire out, they can take their time. Safety First! Eliminate the Threat!
Hey, thanks for posting the video. And, for being kind to me in the review of the recipe.

Awwww baby!!
Thanks it was enlightening.
Good reviews John.
25 years later wow

A great day Ideal Venue Good Food & Fellowship
Bravo to that fireman on the hose and his fast work. He and his fellow crew saved the bacon for that and the adjoining town homes. Great video work, too.
Amazing, legacy townhomes catch fire and they don't burn to the ground. Modern ones catch fire ... and they're gone in minutes!
I live beside there
Really cool! I live in Allendale and pass this building every day.
Dude it's in Michigan
@@ALFREDSS Allendale is in Michigan. It's just outside Grand Rapids.
What is the dimensions for this prop. Very cool prop
I just buy a phone card yesterday I can not be out of dates
The guy in the black turnout gear, is he a high ranking officer in the VBFD or is he a vollie (volunteer) FF?
No. He is a member of the volunteer squad truck. They purchase their own gear and choose the color.
If it started to rain everyone would have run for cover. I wasn't even born yet when this was made.
Hope they learnt their lesson about building design ...
I was at this wetdown.
We converted is from a old VHS tape. Great to save history. Thanks for posting.
I remember it well! I came up from Virginia Beach to attend it!
Nice, Martin! Thanks Very Much!
