@@Bex_1997 here's a girl from the UK... she's like me, we play multiple instruments. When I play bass I just go through my guitar head. But my old bass player he was into adding alittle distortion. It really up's the feel of things. I don't know if I play with distortion much since I like how the tone I get from my bass. I think it depends on the song and type of music. But once you go down that rabbit 🐰 hole you might not want to come back. I've been playing acoustic guitar and adding some dis... and I like it, plus I'm adding effects and stuff...chorus, flanger, it helps. I didn't think your a bad player, but since I was practicing I only saw the one video. And looks like I need to see alot more. I was freaking out cause you reminded me of my buddy and you play with your fingers. Your tone is not bad, but I thought, to get you to a better playing level...distortion will help you. @@BrotherSekh well I started with simple songs first before I started to progress. Playing System of a Down/Scars on Broadway does take a lot of practice. Took me a few tries to do this video before getting one that I'm satisfied with 😂🙂
