Your no bowman. The bucks deserve more than this. Ever wonder what kind of life they live. From us to coyotes to poachers tto vehicles they have to avoid all. That was a big tame buck. This is not hunting this is called killing.

Depending on how much property this man owns, I'd never take whitetail from my driveway. Three problems as a bow hunter and avid outdoors man I see initially. One, if your property line is on the other side of the shed, now you have a bleeding highly agitated buck running through your neighbors property. Whom, may or may not have looked at that animal on a daily basis as Bambi. Two if you are the adjacent property owner and know anything and that buck drops on my property, I'm making you pay me top dollar to get it off and nobody but me is field dressing on my property due to disposal and just plane making a mess. Lastly, there's no sport in it. Yes it's a wild white tail, but there is a difference between a domesticated deer that let's you stalk up to 30 yards and draw a compound and a wild buck. Dude a true wild buck is way more sketch in the woods. Something that's used to the smell of people or even the sight of people is way easy to draw on. Your entire yard smells like human and probably dog, and buck is still in it. No sport whatsoever. Now, granted, I find deer a nuisance and a pest, but I disagree with thrill killing. So I hope you tracked this animal and used every ounce of it.

Well thats kool and all but you still have to follow hunting rules. Was it deer hunting season. Was it bow season. I get that it’s private property but you still have to follow the rules. Or you will go to jail for animal cruelty.

If you cant get a better angle dont shoot , horrible decision on that one ! And yes i know it happens, but it happens when you don't wait !

Ok, now everyone has their own opinion and they’re entitled to it. This for me would not of been a fair chase, ethically taken deer. Clearly the deer was not afraid and if he could have lived, he would have been very confused angry with this young man. Does this mean I wouldn’t shoot a deer of a lifetime in my backyard? No it doesn’t, but he would have to be freak nastiness all drooping down like a weeping willow tree. I’m sure this guy shot himself a wall hanger and it’s legal so god bless, just don’t hand feed your venison folks. 😊

I live in a place just like this. I thought I'd be filling my tags from my front porch. But after seeing them every day for a year, they just became pets, and I couldn't do it. It would have been like shooting my dog.

I wouldn’t have shot that deer. He was nearly eating out of your hand. I’ve got deer all around my house that I don’t shoot. I talk to them and everything and my neighbor hunts them across the road from his house in his field and acts like he’s accomplished something. If I stopped talking to them to get them used to me in case I ever need meet his wall wouldn’t be quite as full

my grandfather told me of a young lad who shot a deer and went to get his father. When he got back 2 others were claiming his deer. Game warden was called and when he asked the boy how can you prove it is your deer. The boy took the end of the deer's tongue out of his pocket. No video needed!
