Why's that?

​@@dragon32210 Well..... 1. It over budget by big margin. 2. Basically they remove or shorten alot of busy bus route from circular key and George St(basically they make one public transport less reliable and replace it with useless public transport that only run into limited area. 3. Kensington and Kingsford become ghost business district since the construction of this tram. 4. Again make bus service even slower in eastern suburbs due to the traffic that introduce by trams. Unless you live in this trams lane, you basically get your commune time increase, if you still force to use bus service you get screwed big time. The old trams work because it use dedicated lane that cut through alot of congested area using less used street, while the new one just use the most congested street. I always champion public transport and willing to accept the removal of street from car use if necessary but Sydney trams just bad design.

@@anubizz3the trams has significantly boosted business along its corridor, in particular on George Street. The buses being slower is not due to the tram, it's because bus service patterns were changed. The tram is a great use of money, and will pay dividends despite being over budget.
