Greyhound Rescue ethically rescues, lovingly rehabilitates, and safely rehomes greyhounds; giving them a voice through advocacy and education.
Greyhound Rescue focuses on adopting out greyhounds as family pets and also has a thriving foster care program. Our kennel facility in Sydney offers a home to dozens of greyhounds, giving them a chance to decompress from their time as a racing greyhound and expose them to new experiences in preparation for the transition from racing dog to pet greyhound.
Adoptions are carefully matched on a case-by-case basis with our experienced staff and volunteers evaluating the temperament of the greyhounds and the needs of the adopters. Once hounds are adopted we provide support to adoptive families to ensure that our greyhounds are living their happily ever after.
