A little vent bc i relate 2 this movie on an unhealthy level, and that in itself speaks volumes :) It started in seventh grade. Well, it really started in fourth grade, when the doctor told me I was obese, and i needed to lose weight (i was 130 llbs and 5'0)- but it got unhealthy in seventh grade. I went to school- new kid!- and I became a part of the 'popular girls'. I was adopted, you could say. Like, I became their mascot. I'm a gifted kid. b4 grade 8 I was writing a novel, apart of mathletes and a straight a gurl. But in seventh grade I started to relaize that everyone looked... different from me. Ppl told me I should lay off on the french fries, and stop dressing like a bby. I did what they said. I tried home workout videos, joined the swim team, started running for hours- but nothing worked. And so I did the only logical thing I could- I just stopped eating. It was gradual at first- no breakfast. Everyday, all day. At first, my mom was frusterated, yelling at me that skipping breakfast wasn't healthy. Then she got over it, and I started to skip lunch- because I was told the pizza at school was roughly 1500 calories. I ate salads until I read that the ranch was 300 calories. I stopped eating lunch. When I came home, I ate dinner- but I became so adverse to food, that even when I heard someone eating it triggered a fight or flight responce. But I still wasn't losing weight. I learned I had a tumor in my stomach which was partially a reason for me being so f*cking fat despite everything. I got surgery, and for a while, I stopped. I introduced lunch back into my diet. But I went straight back to 130 at 5'5, and panicked. For a while, I stopped eating all together- gum and water, gum, and water, until I one day read gum was roughly 20 cal, and it was only water. I can't focus in class. I can't make jokes. I'm always tired. My legs cramp 24/7. I've lied so much about eating at home, or eating so much at school, I know I'm going to hell. In eighth grade, ppl still tell me to lay off the donuts. Little do they know, the last time I had a donut was three years ago. I'm so tired of this- but everyone around me is so skinny, and I'm still so not. I want skinny more then life. Because who will ever love me if I'm not skinny, when I'm not even smart anymore? It's gotten so bad, I eat one strawberry, and I get a suger rush- it's like being high. No one knows. I sometimes wonder what would happen if they found out- would I accept the help I so desperatly need? I don't think I'll die from this. I haven't lost any weight. The scale hasn't gone down, any less then five pounds. Ppl still ask me if I know I have a double chin.
