mine is more blue smoke when starting up or accelerating from a stop. started happening after my cats got plugged, cut them out before it got too bad but im worried some got sucked up into the egr system and cyl 7 and 8 but im gonna see wha my valves look like first. thanks!

Did you change both valve covers? I just did my pcv valve and upper and lower intake manifold gaskets. She still blows a puff of white smoke but not as bad.

I forgot the cracked factory exhaust manifold. Hope it's not too late to add

it is an amazing fix. I cleaned mine. I also enlarged the tiny drain holes. about double size original. I'm amazed at what a piece of modern technology, white smoking,valve cover clogging, no battery charging,rear end leaking, no window working, spitting, sputtering,jumping, jerking, transmission slipping, in the console flapper flapping, no DVD loading, or turning off always clicking, o2 clogging,oil leaking, $10000 can't get half my cash back aggravating to work on truck !!!!!!!

2012 armada.... think I may have to do this as well. Started it up earlier after a 4 hrs drive about 2 hrs later and my god a huge cloud of smoke came out... just my luck. 126k miles

Omg bro, I stg our trucks look identical. Same wheels black same bed length same color same window tint wtf!! Only difference is mine has a black bumper due to previous damages when we bought it!

I was skeptical and desperate. Swapped out valve covers/gaskets. Boom. Zero smoke. Went from thinking the worse to complete disbelief this simple fix solved the problem.
