Community Cat advocate, active TNVR experienced trapper.
I am a board member and an active field rescuer of the 501(c)3 non-profit, Cat Trap Fever, Inc.
These are some experiences and tips/tricks I feel the need to share and vlog on for future references.
Cat Trap Fever is a small group of women based in Saint Petersburg, FL, who work to sterilize the felines reproducing faster than they can be rescued. We practice safe and efficient methods to contain and vet 100% of every clowder of cats that eat at a given food source with various tricks and tactics to leave an impact in the community for the folks and cats to all benefit from.
We are exclusively, unpaid volunteers, with lives and work, outside of trapping and rescuing cats within the community. We appreciate any and all support from those who would love to see less homeless and euthanized cats.

As Hans' healing comes to an conclusion. I'd like to say I'm going to miss him. But I will not because while our bond was enjoyable and fulfilling for me, it was simple trust toleration, on his end. What is the liquid dewormer you used that contains both pyrantel and praziquantel (sp) in it? Drontal pills are so expensive! Please hook me up with THIS stuff! 🙏

You need to learn how to hold kittens and cats appropriately. Let them have autonomy over their own bodies and show some kindness.

Russian blues and nebelung cats can be very shy, but truly loving to their human parents. It takes more time with these cats usually, so please have patience!❤
I don't like the way you are holding that kitten, you are holding him like he is a viscous kitten, do you show all kittens like this, i couldn't finsh watching the way you had the back of his neck so tight in your hand and showing him like a slaughter cow, it looks like animals abuse. I hope if you do get other comments they will tell you the same thing, so you will stop, and treat those fur babies a lot better, than what you are showing.

This is so helpful i thought i had to put the kittens in the trap but they move around so i didnt want them to get hurt with the trigger plate. Fortunately the kittens where old enough to wean and rehome.
Great video! I just bought a Freeman cage net to TNR several semi-feral cats. These cats are very wary of the usual cat traps that I used on their other siblings, so now I need to try something different. I viewed several videos on how to use the net, but yours is the only video I found that showed how to move the cat from the net to the trap, so I can transport them to the vet. Thank you!!!
