I ADORE this version! The sound of the cathedral instruments are so cool, so I love hearing more of them, as well as Gitaroo Man's parts/attacks sounding more melodic and less noisy (not dissing that aspect of the OG tho!). And the finale/bridge? SO COOL when it's Gregorio playing it, smooth yet menacing at the same time.

*ramble:* i love this song SOOO much but now i cant listen to it without thinking about my ex-best friend who thinks kinda like this. he was very notorious in our friend group for being very perpetually sarcastic, holier-than-thou-esque, constantly teasing and bickering with our other friends, and thats just how he was. i was the only one in the group that would consistently fire back at him and because of that i very quickly gained his respect. over time he developed a weird soft spot for me where he would spare me but also tease me in a MUCH more homoerotic way 😭 i did actually have feelings for him and i suspected that he did for me, but one night we got into a really bad argument. because of his literal god complex he refused to see how he was blatantly wrong and said a lot of things that hurt me personally. its been 2 or 3 years since then and i miss him A LOT, i doubt he misses me though as it only seems like he was using me to feed his huge ego
