Yo, amazing impression! Just a quick question: If I were to carry an m1a1 carbine in the battle of the bulge would I still have rigger pouches or have m1 ammo pouches?
Ammo pouches. I recently got a carbine so I’ll be doing a video in the future when I get the stuff put together about airbone loadouts with the carbine probably
@@eagles_can_flyThanks!
🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 keep it going!
Currahee!
How can I make the sulfilmilimide however u spell it packet? Where can I find printout?
Hey man. Idk if you'll ever read this comment. But my great grandfather was in G company. 347th infantry regiment. 87th infantry division. He was a light machine gunner and was there in Europe as soon as the division was there in October 1944. I appreciate this video because it shows me a bit what my great grandfathers kit would've looked like during the war. My great grandfather passed before I was born unfortunately so I didnt have a chance to speak with him. But thanks for posting this cool video.
I am really into the 101 reacting so this does look good better then i could make thh
This helped me a lot I’m only 11 so I can’t carry a weapon yet so thanks
That’s what the designer expected you to use older 1911 like this one, not the tea cup or some sh*t like that
101st airborne gear tour???? Love the channel
I’ve done other videos show casing some of the gear specific to the 101st. Just go to my channel and look
how do you get the blood affect on your jacket sleeves?? love the vid

Wonderful Video, thank you very much! So I'm looking to Buy a decent Replica which is surprisingly difficult if you want any Quality! Do you have a recommendation regarding a good maker? All the very famous and good ones went out of Business and i only seem to find some from Pakistan which i don^t trust to be honest. Any tips would be appreciated!
Society hat co started to make them again as they supplied the ones used in Masters of the Air. You’ll probably be put on a waiting list though as there very popular
@@eagles_can_fly Funny you should mention them. I just got in contact with Pete from this Company and he MIGHT be able to take on new orders in Juli or August and that the Price is at USD 300 + Shipping which is... WOW. Its so funny how these things go. Sometimes I am worried to find any decent producer for a piece of Costume and get dozens of great offers while at other times I'm sure I get one in five minutes while spending a week researching. I'm sure you are in the same boat tough with all your props...
The infantry badge shown is a modern day Expert Infantryman Badge, not a Combat Infantry Badge, which didn't exist until the latter stages of the war and was not awarded to medics. The EIF is awarded through testing of infantry skills, not combat experience and does not include the surrounding wreaths designating a CIB. Medics were eventually awarded the Combat Medic Award, which is a stretcher surrounded by wreaths. I'm a former medical service corps officer and USN analyst in combat casualty care. And most US medics in Europe did not carry weapons (though some did for self protection) because the Germans were signers of the Geneva Convention and recognize d medical personnel as noncombatants. In the Pacific Theater, where Japan didnot recognize the Geneva Convention, medics were armed with sidearms or carbines for self protection. Today medics are armed with sidearms or carbines like the M4. The Conventions only prohibit medical personnel from manning crew-served weapons.
Yes I know and thank you for this comment that gives good insight on the topic. This is an outdated video and it includes multiple inaccuracies. I’ve sense adjusted my kit and actually don’t do a medic impression anymore.
Nice you did a good job with those
You're more than likely to find magazines for a Lee-Enfield than you are the Chargers to load that fucking thing
Hi nice vid also can anyone give me a good company to get a WW2 medic plasma bottle from. Because I re-enact medic so if anyone can give me some advice please that would be greatly appreciated.
Hey guys can you suggest a company to get a WW2 plasma bottle from . Like the one in the video
Thank you for your tips
Lovely 👌
Can you make a buying guide
That’s very vauge lol
Damn I'd like to see it all on 1 shelf!
where do you get your bandages?
I wonder if this could be used in a d’day impression.
The M9 was adopted in combat in mid-late 44. It started to see frontline use in like September I belive. But it wasn’t there for DDAY
Not bashing here. Is the bedroll around the shelter half a period correct method? The S1/2 outside could waterproof your bedroll.
Very nice!!
Lol
Nice impression! Would u ever het a carbine?
If I get the money and I find one then yeah. I did however buy another weapons that’s otw
@@eagles_can_fly nice! Ohh cool what did u get
Hey. So i commented on your 101st Airborne D-Day Impression about what i should buy and what to buy first basically for an ammo bearer/assistant gunner impression for 82nd/101st airborne. Probably 101st for D-Day. Just commented on this video as it's your newest and wanted to find out the right answers from a good re-enacter that has great uniforms. Thank you.
Hello. I'm looking to do a WW2 101st/82nd Airborne Impression. I don't have enough money at the moment to buy all the gear at once. But i want to know if i should buy the jump uniform (pants and jacket), possibly even a helmet/boots (maybe not) or the field gear and equipment like the belt, ammo pouches, canteen, suspenders, medical pouch etc. I also am going to do an ammo bearer or an assistant gunner for the browning m1919 so what equipment do i need for that impression specifically? What order should i buy the equipment in and what to buy first as i can't afford to buy all at once. Thank you.
Hi, I know this video is a year old but i really want to start a WW2 US Airborne Impression for 82nd/101st. I have some questions. What should i buy first for the impression? I'm also wanting to be an ammo bearer/assistant gunner and want similar gear to you. But what should i buy first? I can't afford to buy the jump uniform and all the webgear at once. But i can afford to buy the main web gear on it's own or just the jump uniform (Pants and jacket) + maybe a helmet. I found some good venders like at the front, epic militaria and whatpriceglory as well. I also am quite knowledgable about the subject but need to know what to buy first. Could you please help me out on what order of to buy the gear and also what gear i'll need as an ammo bearer like you? Thank you.
Get uniforms first UNLESS your a still growing child. If your still growing then only get a helmet and your webbing As for your webbing, it really depends on the unit and timeframe of the unit your doing. For vendors I recommend ATF for uniforms and webbing eBay is a good source for original stuff and 2nd hand repros
Would it hurt the hat?
Hey man what did you do to your bayonet to de farb it. I just bought a 1903 and wanna do the same thing.
for the filthy 13, he have the demolition bag?, and the general purpose musette?
😮😮😮
@linkfreeman1998 the cursed thing is that his finger was in the trigger if you were wondering.
WOMP WOMP
Hey, is your uniform from QMI ?
The 43s are from WPG. There an older run I got in like 2021 I think?
@@eagles_can_fly ok thanks
I like how you keep everything organized
LOL. It’s very UNorganzied
Very nice collection. Hopefully you get into a good history program. I went with a history program catered towards museum work and that is quite fun. Good luck and see you at a event.
Fun fact, this is along the lines of how the lee was invisioned to be reloaded by the British at first. They thought troops could carry a spare mag for a fast reload, and then load from the top. This idea just never really entered doctrine
So magezine is more convenient but clip is used?
