Stretching the spring a little maybe?
😳😳
Rectangle
If it works it works......
Nice looking knives but weird opening choices. Blessyou
Agreed!
It was cool to meet you at the show, glad I could pick up one of your knives. Hope to get the mini Station at some point.
@@MPTurtleman great to meet you. Thank you for the support 👊🏻👊🏻
I saw your designs at Blade Show West. By the time I found your booth my budget was depleted, so I didn't buy one...but I fell in love with the RR3 especially. I wish I would have found you earlier. I never heard of your knives, but did some research and saw the Metal Complex review and also the Tristache review. Both gave great reviews and I saw with my own 2 eyes on how awesome they are. Then I watched this video and I think it's awesome that all of your designs are inspired by your late father.... Sorry for your loss. I'm glad I found your booth at the show though. I'll be getting at least 2 of your designs if not all 3 if I can find them available. Definitely the RR3 will be my next knife purchase come hell or high water. Best of luck with your future endeavors and I look forward to watching you grow 👍👌
Thank you! Much appreciated! Yes we gotta get an RR3 into your hands 👊🏻👊🏻
@@KnifeStandards Definitely need to get one in hand . The RR3 Stonemilled is the one I really want, but it's sold out on your site 😢 I tried looking for it at other stores, found it at White Mountain Knives, but of course it's sold out there as well. Is there any other place I can find one? Or when do you think you will have more available?
@@meatandpotatoman yes recon1 just got some in. Check them out
@@KnifeStandards Recon1 is only an hour away from me, I'll have to make a trip. Thanks so much for the info and quick response, much appreciated 👍
@@meatandpotatoman they are awesome. And have some very cool RR3 combos. Of course no problem let me know if you have any questions.
"Tenable Knives, a budget brand under the Kansept Knives umbrella"
Looks like mother of pearl inlays and the center is black lip pearl. On the other hand its hard to tell from the video, could be abalone
I’m hoping it’s abalone but either way it’s epic lol
What’s this model called? I can’t find it
Which one?
Sorry, I found it-the Biophase! You liking it?
@@iSpritz it’s definitely interesting! Doesn’t fit my hand though
how much for the thic boi otf
@@projakwesse-_-623 200
would you consider a design with wood inlays? CRK-style?
My own design? That would be cool
CJRB has been stepping up their game !!!!
Absolutely love the 308! Im big into zt knives. You can use i believe a half inch wrench to ajust the pivot.
Both have a very attractive design and even both have the lanyard space at the correct place, but the problem I have is the raised on the back clip with screws that are part of the scales union structure, since I always remove the clips.
Very nice looking knife. The one with a flamed scales is sweet
😊😊😊😊😊
Why the no?
Rip off of fat carbon frost
Thanks for sharing it isnt a RR3 but they are decent.😂
Haha ;)
Gotta love Kizer!!!
that grind is ugly AF. other than that, i really enjoy mine. and the packaging is awesome too!
I like the grind lol
This is a nice knife, but there's no reason it should cost more than a plain jane sebenza. I love mine but was quite disappointed when I initially received it. Overall, the presentation for the price point was lacking as it just came in a cheap cardboard box with no coa. My blade centering was also off and I found that the pivot barrel that was installed measured 0.325" instead of the 0.375" stated in the FAQ. Once I changed the pivot barrel, the blade centering was okay. The grind was also pretty bad, so I put a new edge on it pretty quickly. I love the knife, but it's definitely lacking at the price point.
B fo sho
Sheepscliff man... Sheepscliff.
Agreed lol
I’d give $15
Thanks for sharing not kissing butt or Anything but since i got My RR3 i havent carried anything else its so Awesome Thank you for designing Such an Awesome Edc.
That is really great to hear! And means a lot! Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ve been carrying mine everyday!
Evo is much different.
@@charlesard8639 you’re right the Evo has a 15 month preorder wait time
The blade shape is very similar. The handle shape is completely different.
I own the clone. It's called the evo 3 made by CKF.
A couple different knives
Not a front flipper guy but D*MN that's pretty 😍
Beautiful knife, awful music😂
lol
Got #77 today it is Awesome and the case kicks as# its like a mini nano vault. I cant say enough good things about this knife. Ill sum the Knife up with a few Words Classy, Beautiful, Detent is perfect im so glad i got one and #77 is my number. Thanks Knife Standards.
@@sterlingstoots3215 thank you, that means a lot
What's the expected quality difference if any, between the CKF fif20 and the CKF fif18?
@@davec3651 no idea, but I’m sure it’ll be good after a 12 month wait lol
@@KnifeStandards If only it was safe to assume such things 😄
Congrats on the MC coverage today!
@@distraughtducky4303 thank you!
The Knife Standards crew know their biz! Exactly what was needing to happen. Love the OG Station, but its business end is a tad large.
Join the crew!
@@KnifeStandards thank you
I'd love to see you design a fixed blade with a 3" to 3.5" blade..
I like the design And Sounds like The Designer/Maker is Good People Thanks For Sharing.
Finally found some RR3s on white mountain knives and with the coupon im going to order the fully milled one like i have been saying for two months.😂🎉
You can use code KS
@@KnifeStandardsThanks So Much I used the Code and saved $35.00 so now I can buy a another clip from you're Site
Please sell me this knife.
Sold a long time ago
@@KnifeStandardsI was fairly certain that was the case but I’d be a fool if I didn’t try lol. I got my RR Station about 3 weeks ago in the belt ground satin with blackwash ti & the purple haze fat carbon. I was blown away man. I’ve owned plenty of nice knives over the years but yours instantly stood out as one that will stay in my collection permanently the moment I handled it.
@@shamusmcinky4882 Thank you that means alot!
The new sonoras are little different. The new blade spines arnt rounded anymore, and the blade stock seems thicker.
The blade stock is the same it's always been, the spine crowning was removed, with edge breaking from stonewashing to ensure there are no sharp edges, there's also a bit more distal taper than the early models.
😊😊😊😊
I got one in black denim micarta. Love the action, love the looks, love the size, love the ergonomics. I tried it on some cardboard and it did very well. I think the lockup is too early though. I'm used to my old Real Steels and Ruikes and even CRKTs. Somewhere between 40-50% is my idea of a perfect lockup. Other than that, I love the knife.
Had my g10 version for 2 years it works flawlessly. After a year of carrying it I took it apart and cleaned it. I bent the liner just a tiny bit to give it a tad stiffer detent. The only thing I would change is the pocket clip screws should be inset.
Just picked one up! Having trouble reverse flicking. I noticed the Detent is high. Any tips?
Are you using thumbnail? Or meat of your finger? Like the pad of your finger Cuz it’s too strong to use your nail
Spydie flicking is what I’m having trouble with. Can’t seem to not put pressure on the frame lock, adding pressure to the detent.
@@alexkwok9276 see if you can use the meat of your middle finger instead of the the nail and side of it. also use the clip to hold onto so you dont bind up the lockbar
@@KnifeStandards sounds good! I’ll give it a try! Thanks for the tips!
I have a standard utx 70 s/e with red handle coming in a trade this week. I have large hands, but I want a Microtech again
Thanks great review of a great knife. Have you thought of trying their new Bespoke Sonoras program where you can configure your own design for one?
I have thought about it! It would be awesome! But no room in my collection for doubles at the moment
@@KnifeStandards I can tell you I ordered mine one the first day it went live and it took a month before they notified me that mine was ready and I could buy it or not. This could be because I chose Magnacut steel and according to tracking info I should get it either tomorrow or Wed. It was $75 more than original Sonoras but to design my own I felt it was worth it. It will go with my Grimsmo Buyer's Club Rask that I was able to design as well.
@@barboki sounds very cool
@@barbokiI have a question out of curiosity. After you agreed to buy it how long did it take to get to you?
@@m.houston6643 It took a month. I think it took longer because I chose Magnacut and not S35VN. Though the USPS seems to be lagging in delivering it.
Ken Onion design by chance? That handle profile looks just like the Karbon Buckhorn.
I’m actually not sure!
