I've had my eye on this game for years, absolutely love the setting and aesthetics, but was a bit disappointed they settled on extraction shooter over a standard story based game. Thanks for the showcase. Also just a small correction, the game was announced at the 2017 Game Awards and has actually been in development for roughly 6 years. But released exclusively on EGS in early access for 1 year before coming to Steam.

good video I will continue playing Apex as Spectre Divide is really hard. It is especially hard to play smth new after being good in other games. I don't have much time now. GL to devs, industry is hard now.

'Chat connection lost' issues effectively excommunicate you from allies and enemies in chat and voice chat, which in a TAC shooter is brutal. Ping spikes and frame drops in any FPS, especially a low TTK one, is brutal. I like the concept of this game and I like the sponsors, but the game is frustrating to me because of performance issues. I will return to the game when they have fixed most of these issues.

Not gonna lie, i like how theres less focus on economy. You have to focus on it if you want tier 5 but if you just want some good guns every round you dont really need to think. I understand it makes it less competitive but theres already so much to think about with two characters on two sides, trying to figure out if its 6 man push on 1 site or double site push, using util, you have different guns so different playstyles at the same time, do you want to bring over your spectre, are they walking to sneak spectre kills or rushing with util, etc. Its also kind of a bad feeling when you just get outclassed in guns because you lost a pistol round, because its like oh youre worse at the game so lets kick you down more. I think its more fair to still be able to have guns and full armor on 3 rounds lost is a good way to give the losing side a chance to get back on track instead of being put down with a bad loadout.

I love this game so much i hope it will grow in players

concise video! in response to your criticism about the economy: each round following the pistol can greatly vary depending on who wins, what is bought, and how much damage was done to the other teams economy regardless of the outcome of the round. that being said, i think they have actually managed to strike a very interesting balance that isnt present in other games with similar economy mechanics (see valorant or CS). because the losing team gets enough eco in round 2 to be able to have the same tier buy as the winning team, this results in far more competitive second rounds than in other games, where if you lose round one you can basically assume the second round is lost. i really like this because it means losing round 1 isnt a death sentence, and this works very well with the reduced round count and shorter games. you can still full save round 2 on a loss in order to get a full buy round 3, and is often the correct play since you will actually be able to outbuy the other team and start swaying rounds in your favor. that being said, being able to compete in buys in every single round regardless of the scoreline does flatten the curve in terms of making strategic decisions with economy. because full saving is only encouraged and not required to get advantage, and following a force buy you can still usually get up to tier 3, it makes it very easy to do lots of damage and eventually take a round back through sheer luck. i cant decide whether or not thats really a good thing for the game. i lean towards it being a healthy thing, but without being aware of the nuance that it creates it can definitely be more frustrating than anything else. just my two cents, curious what you think about this tho: are there any other ways you would adjust the economy besides the armor pricing change? Performance issues are still bad I have 70-80 fps on val min settings at 100% render scale On spectre i only get 40-50 and sometimes 60 when not moving with min graphics and 70% render scale which looks really bad Also ping is high af

I personally love this game, but as a player in Asia it’s hardly known, so queue times are worst. Like cmon I ran into the same guys not twice but 4 times. Also the game is new so most players have no idea what to do, even in Ruby/Diamond/Emerald, Now the cons: The economy of this game is way too balanced, but in a bad way, like the enemy gets to buy the same guns as you even tho they lost 2-3 like you mentioned. I feel like the dynamic with your spectre is kinda off, like it feels limited on defense, especially when you have to cover a whole map with 3 players and 3 inactive ones. Some sponsors are way too situational because of the spectre dynamic (ex: umbra) The recoil is too easy, I’m used to tapping and burst from other tac shooters but in this game you can just spray 80m away

Lovin the game. I do agree with the feeling that a lot of the guns feel similar. I have a hard time mixing up what I use, especially when i'm broke. But W vid!

free to play games are really hard to make money off of so of course the skins have to have a priority as that’s a main source of money for the team

I will be realy it wont last long even Shroud only plays it when he realy has to . Its not new or different enoth to bring peopl in and the point of compairing Ubisofts resources to them is also strang when you also bring up they have no resources to begin with . Reality is makeing a life service game alone is a insane money sink even for big Companys on a market thats over run by them to bring out a bearly new one with no realy big content maschien behind it is a road to death .

I have been playing the game since closed beta and still having tons of fun with it! After getting quite some hour in Valorant, it is a fresh perspective and so far I love it. Agree with basically everything you pointed out and I am so glad things are getting in right direction and devs are listening. Hopefully game is gonna do well (afterall Valorant start was not good at first as well). Great video.
