"A Song About Baseball"

When I was a T-Ball Dad, I took my video camera to one of my son's games. Inspired by Bob Bennett's classic song, "A Song About Baseball," I created this tribute to the love that exists between fathers and their children.

Good song
We're still here Bob
Oh, this is the BEST!
Unbelievable - most awesome Easter Song!
Beautifully played!
Praise God. What a beautiful worship love, song to the lord.
I just discovered that my old drum major from my high school band is married to and singing with Terry Clark. Wow! I honestly have never heard her sing until now. Nancy Kent was one of the sweetest girls in high school and also one of the prettiest. I was in the drum section and I believe she played clarinet. I have been a musician (professionally for quite a few years) for sixty years this month (Feb. 2024). I became a christian a few years later than Nancy in 1977 and I am very pleased to see her in this capacity praising Jesus. They are my brother and sister in Christ. Thank you Jesus.
Is Terry doing well?
Thank you Terry! thank you for your faithfullnes! The true worship in spirit and in truth will never loose its power and anointing. i am touched in my heart by the holy spirit.
Just found his album "I am Yours" in a thrift store. Thank you Jesus for guiding me to this artist among the hundreds of CDs. And thank you Terry. A voice from Heaven.
He has probably sung that song a thousand times and still sings it with such passion. And what a gift. Singer, songwriter, player extraordinaire.
Have always loved the variations of bass patterns
We saw Terry and Nancy at a worship service in Seattle several years ago. A friend of mine was going through a very dark season in his life-we bought the Let's Worship cd for him-he said he played it over over and over again and the Lord used the songs help him heal. Praise the Lord!!!!!!
Im confused,"to hell with the devil" yet at the begin of the video there is a guy giving a satanic symbol.
I went to his concert in the Seaside/Monterey area in Northern California I believe in 1986. After that I went to a Christian bookstore to check on his CD's (or maybe cassette tapes at that time). I was disappointed they didn't have it. I suggested that they should carry his songs because it is anointed. That's what I felt at his concert. Over 40 yrs later, I still play, pray and worship with his songs. I felt so close to the LORD. I bought the CD's from Amazon some years, back and gave them to family and friends. Thank you Mr. Clark for sharing your anointed songs to us. I believed GOD is glorified
This song and the whole album got me through cancer treatment 36 years ago. Still blessed by it. Thank you!
😇🙌🏽🙏🏼 , Yes! Jesus it is You we Love and You we worship 🤗♥️♥️♥️♥️ Such a Joy in my heart to be able to hear it😅❤
So spirit filled..I can feel it in your songs. Praise God...

One of my all time favorite people (and songs :) I hadn't heard this version before, Scott. Thanks for sharing!
I went to school with Bob (Warren High School Downey, Calif ) he was in drama with Ken and Robert and Larry, sang at Calvery Chapel Downey, I have afew of his cd's keep on plugging Bob
Wednesday, November 16, 2022 - I have recommended Scott's video so many times (when online and off) that I was slightly shocked to find today that I never actually commented on it. My bad. Many years ago, I had an idea for a video for this song and I still think I had some good ideas but there is absolutely no need for such a thing now ... because Scott did such a masterful job here. As you would expect, I've "heard" the song hundreds of times (duh), but I still have to make sure I'm not (as they used to say) operating heavy machinery. It's a beautiful and emotional thing! So, seven-plus years down the line, my sincere thanks to Scott Bachmann for the presentation ... and my thanks to you for watching and for your interest. Sincerely, Bob Bennett (Costa Mesa, CA)
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Absolutely wonderful !
If there is ever a "Mount Rushmore" of Christian songs, this one will, no doubt, be on it.
One of the truly great worshipers from the 70's & 80's and beyond❗🙏🕊️☝️🕊️
What's up with the earing Bob?
He was in an accident and has to use that to pin his ear back onto his head. C'mon, Man, this powerful song and this is what you see? Let God bring us to see we are all men of the tombs. That's what matters.
@@timmartin6274 it's "The Heart of the Matter!". ua-cam.com/video/-HNo6JA_dE0/v-deo.html Skin colored Velcro would be better The Bible teaches against such. Deut 22. And what the Scriptures say Matters Most! Not your feelings or opinion. If my last name was Coors and I wore a Coors hat to sing at a church, would that be ok? Oh man, you would say, his name is Coors! His song is what matters! Think it through bro. You will see I'm right.
Thank you for posting this, what a beautiful song and such a gifted man. I bought his cd’s back in the 90’s when I first gave my life to Jesus and this music touched me deeply
!st time I ever saw him play and sing was at the old haleiwa theater, no longer there. He was playing a black Les Paul.
My step moms name was Tracey Durham spelt different but she divorced my dad so she doesn’t have my last name though wonder if we are related
I love the Clark's so much!! I met them in the 80's at MARANATHA CHAPEL in San Diego, California. I've been to several of their performances. I still listen to them on this format and I have their CDs. When I ever see them again I will give them a hug.
POWERFUL!!!
I love this song....I worship you Lord
This song is always as fresh Let the name of the Lord be praised continually
wow. saw Terry at Maranatha Calvary Chapel, San Diego 1993-ish.... powerful story of recovery and his voice is just as clear and strong now as then.. one of my favorite worship songs.. Shout out to any Cauble's from Laurens or Clinton (where my pap is from). I forgot Nancy.. what a blessing!!!
Such a blessing...😎
This man's music helped me during the lowest point iv ever reached. The way his lyrics touch your soul and his amazing voice. It sounds and feels so pure. Thank you so much Bob I will always be grateful for you helping me in my life.
Me too! This song made me weep every time I heard it and to pray harder for the loved one who was my man of the tombs and I spent 6 months praying for him every half hour claiming mark chapter 5 for his deliverance. Bob Bennet and Bruce Carrolls music were my catharsis music to hold my focus on Christ instead of going off the rails. I'll never forget that.
I love this brother's music! His lovely wife is a great singer too, beautiful harmonies! Wish I had access to all their music!
