He clearly mentioned this, Am sure those users are not "paying customers". Somewhere he mentioned Facebook, and I agree with him on that, it's rather unfortunate that you find it quite like you said "Stupid"

Super helpful crash course! One key component that is mentioned is competitor analysis. For any business idea, it is important to identify competitors in order to create differentiation.
Great Crash Course! A big takeaway from this is keeping in mind to not strive to solve everyones problems but rather the key customers problems.
