It happened nearly 50 years ago big Jim had a brain freeze 🥶 it wasnt good but i remember the interview with kurt Sorensen who was there in the field he was saying John was doing his job and was getting under the players skin it was a tight dirty game anything can happen and it did Eddie Waring the commentar was a muppet when he said at the endvof the. game how the kiwis were unlucky with injuries when it was due to foul play by the welsh Jim Mills was a great player who played in Sydney england and can't be denied being one of the greatest

Wow, so glad I came across this video...growing up in NZ we didn't get much league on the tele until the mid 80's, we got one hour highlights of the last weeks round on a sunday & at that time the Eels were the team...so Zip-Zip Man, Bert, Sterlo, Guru, Mr Perpetual Motion, Cronin & others were like the 1st superstars we got to see across the ditch on t.v.
