I wish Vecna had taken control of Billy at that point.
First of all, it's all Neil's fault for brutality beating Billy and forcing him to take care of Max rather than letting her go by herself on her own. Rather than canceling his date, they should have found Max in the first place rather than forcing him to find her. And also, what did Billy ever do to Susan because he was yelling at his own father, not his step mother. I wish Billy would straightly beat his dad and move out from his home.
Maybe in an alternate reality, Billy decides to leave his abusive father and make it on his own. Max tries to get her stepbrother to come home but he can’t take his dad’s crap anymore. Max’s mother says to Neil that she wants to divorce him because he’s a bad parent to Billy and doesn’t want Max to be around a toxic person like him. Neil doesn’t put a fight and leaves Hawkins. Soon after Billy comes back home and starts helping Max’s mom out, plus has a better relationship with them both.
Everybody has a story including the people who bullied you whomever you are 😢🙏.

HOW IS HIS MOM GONNA WATCH HER OWN SON GET PUNCHED BY HIS FATHER?
Billy deserved it here
Billy is a bully, the way I see it, everyone takes a beating sometime. Billy has it good yet he still wants to act all disrespectful.
has it good? Did you watch the show??
Big brother Billy 😢❤
Why Billy never told anyone he was abused at home by his father ? That would have gotten his father arrested and would have solved Billy's problems. If I was in Billy's shoes that exactly what I would have done in first place.
Billy is 18 and im not sure the police would carr
Neil: No it’s not okay, nothing about his behavior is okay. Me: And whose fault is that? Oh wait let me tell, it’s you!!!
these comments aint it, it really shows how none of you have ever had actual real parents to beat your ahh when youre CLEARLY in the WRONG
his dad was shown to be nothing more than a pure abusive asshole
Bro I feel so bad for him. He’s such a jerk because of his father.
B 1:43
I like how when Billy’s dad says he’s gonna cancel the date billy clearly is upset by it but doesn’t say anything out of fear My bad😢
no shit...
Scolding? This is abuse
Literally..
"Nothing about his behaviour is ok", really dude!!
I feel like the people who hate Billy are people who’ve never had to deal with this type of toxic abuse from a dominating male force. That shit will turn you into a straight up asshole so I can relate to Billy a lot. It’s not an excuse but it is a reason.
People who hate him are chronically online simpletons and their only cope is “you like him because he’s attractive” rhetoric
Billy could kick the living shit out of him 😂
fun fact : billy can beat his dad up but he dont want to cuz he is afraid of him
Hes such a jerk i understand why billy was the way he was
Unpopular opinion: Neil is how every dad is supposed to be like. Can't have a nation of snowlakes
Okay boomer
I agree with you. While Neil was wrong to hit Billy, the lessons he was trying to instill were good: respect and responsibility. Coming home to find an open window and a child missing is every parent's worst nightmare, and Billy was just blowing it off like, "I'm sure she's fine." Well, what if she isn't? Get out there and bring her home, just like your Dad said.

Uu
If Neil actually tried to throw hands then Billy would absolutely rock his shit tbh 💀😭
Yeah physically but he's been treated like that his own life he probably still sees his dad the same way he saw back when he was young
Yeah but its his dad would you throw hands with your dad if he put hands on you probably not
@@filpejee9689 Hell yeah
Personally I think the dad is right just straight up protective and discipline
I agree. The parents trusted Billy and he let them down, then acted like it wasn't a big deal. While I don't condone Neil actually hitting Billy, he had every right to be pissed at his son's dismissive attitude.
Wrong he is despicable cause he hit his ex-wife & abused Billy when he was young
@@TheHalloweenGuy666 good
@@Jarod797 what do you mean
@@TheHalloweenGuy666 billy was a bully anyway he deserved it
His dad was a monster.
no wonder billy was so irrational when he was looking for max because this is what he had to go through if he didnt get the job dine and then when steve get in his way and interfere he couldnt control himself and almost killed him
"scolded" you meant abused, scolding isn't this, this is abuse.
Billy’s dad is the real villain here… But Im surprised Billy didn’t just snap and whoop his deadbeat dad’s ass tbh, he would deserve it. Although here I think his dad is just much more stronger
You can't just beat gour dads ass, you owe him more than he owes you
Jesus loves u
What Episode is this?😅
S2 E8
I know a lot of people on here are sympathizing with Billy as the "victim" here, but try to put it in the perspective of the father: It's the 1980's, kids are being kidnapped left and right, they come home to find their child GONE, and the bedroom window OPEN. Now, WE know why this has occurred, because we saw her leave....her parents have ZERO idea. And the person who WAS supposed to be watching her, and the person they entrusted her well being with.....absolutely failed. And to add insult to injury...he doesn't really seem to care or be that concerned. So I am actually 100% on the side of the angry father.....in THIS particular scene.
Bro it was his own father and besides he said it himself"been watching her for weeks"and Max was a kid,he always run from Billy so even if he watch her all day,She would still leave secretly and he grow up from an abusive father and unlovable mother so I'm not shocked if he act like a villain
Billy is the classic villain who’s broken played beautifully
I speak for everybody when I say Neil Hargrove is without a doubt the worst character of the show EVER!
I agree.

For Billy's dispecable behaivor Neil has been behind this the whole entire time
I feel so sorry for billy. His dad is an asshole
I don’t know if I’m weird but this is one of my favourite scenes in the hole franchise
*Me:* You're not going anywhere, you stay home. Me and Jacko going out tonight and having fun. You go to bed right now! :) *Banan Alice:* It's only 19:00 *Me:* GO TO BED...!!!!!!!!!!!! *Banan Alice:* 2:12
Dacre is great in this scene but so is the guy playing his dad. That sounded real
Oh how horrible it is. Imagine a world where a father sternly disciplines his bratty out of control son.
Are you slow? The entire reason Billy is the way he is is because his "father" DOESN'T discipline his child... he beats the crap out of him and BULLIES his own "SON". Do you know what discipline is? Please never have children.
Do you not realize what abuse is? Don’t become a parent.
Billys mind was flayed by an mentally and physically abusive parent. Makes sense he became a mind flayer.
😭😱😭
I’m talking to every single one of you people that’s a male and call yourselves dads let me tell you it ain’t the oldest kids responsibility to take care of your kids get key word YOUR kids
I foots put my info on this since when is it the brothers responsibility to take care of his sister that suppose to be the parents job not his that’s what messes with me parents decide to have kids but don’t want to take care of them also if your parents said they be back by a certain time and there not back yet bc there going on a date then fuck them for telling billy that his date is going to be called of, and yes I know life’s not fair but WTF
This is sad but just cause your daddy beats you doesn’t mean you get to go around making other peoples lives miserable. And he should wash his hair. His mullet looks so greasy. He could learn a thing or two about how to be a gentleman and how to groom himself from a guy like Steve
when people make your life miserable it can turn you into a asshole, may not be morally right but it happens
It really upsets me Billy as a whole character was completely wasted. I was very interested to know more about his relationship with his father.. But then I realized Stranger Things isn’t about abusive relationship problems with your parents… So why did they even give this awareness to his character?? They never went back to it and they killed him off…… his emotional backstory should’ve came from Billy himself. NOT THROUGH L’s Eye….
I think they had some screen time to pad out and did this because the actor of Neil wanted to. But yeah you can see where they decided to cut these character moments. In S4 the bully guy literally doesn’t have a character he’s just a jock
bro if that was my dad i wouldve been dead already
You probably shouldn’t have shared that on a platform where millions of people can see.
If maxx would have protected billy just once im sure he would have seen her in a different light.
You should read the book ‘runaway max’ she did
