Facinating that the MiG-23 can hit 10g in WT when the US and Germans tested them they found that they were on the same level as the F-4's and inferior to the teen series fighters. The max g loads changes with the wing sweep. When the former East German pilots flew them against the Luftwaffe F-4's they did not even try to turn fight, they just hit the merge and kept on going out of range where they would turn back and re-attack.

This is the worst way to play it Just climb to 7000m and be above 950kph, then TWS soft lock and start slinging phoenixes out the wazoo. Dive behind the furball and shit the 2 remaining Aim-9Ls from orbit before u hit the deck. Hit the deck and ACM anything you can get guns on, dash to your team and play support. Easy 4 kill game Edit: 30km launch is your preferred option. But don’t expect anything past 45km to reliably hit. Anything under 23km is pushing it’s capabilities

Try firing the R-3Rs at 2.7-4 km instead of 1-2.2km so the missile doesn't have to pull as hard. It's a copy of the R-3S, the same trash 10G Overload, but can go longer ranges since it locks head-on. I also recommend starting the radar lock and missile warmup around 5-6km.

I disagree that the 21bis is handicapped at 12.0. When that thing is spaded and you know what to do with it you can really fuck with people's heads, because the premium F4s think you're a free kill and the F-16s dont pay you any attention, so with 6 R60MKs you can skitter around on the deck at mach 1 boom and zooming on enemies who don't know you're there. You can cause chaos and it gives the top tiers such a headache it's kind of beautiful.

Do you have any tips to help with stuff like how to multitask easier between playing defensive and offensive at the same time? I’ve been struggling at toptier because I have Asperger’s which makes it hard to multitask and for some reason I just can’t do both at once

the exception for rule 2 is in the mig23ml, when getting into dogfight i slow down to 800 kmh for best maneuverability

Mig-29 that is bombing is an " extremealy dangerous target" 😅😅😅.The plane might be dangerous but you will NEVER see a good pilot bombing with a mig-29. And if he does it for the memes,he will definetly react to your aproach better then just turning away.

Started trying this myself, and it seems to be working, though it’s definitely taking some getting used to. Tried going back to the way I used to play when I first got the SPS-K (gun+R13M) and it didn’t work at all. Too many all aspect missiles to be flying without flares. Irl, I’m pretty sure that the SPS-K could carry up to 4 R-60 or R-13M. Or a combination of those with the R3R. If Gaijin ever buffed the SPS-K like that, I’d love it, but it would definitely need to be bumped up to 10.0.

The missiles are so bad that you rather would not get them. Otherwise its pretty good and i grinded to 8.7BR with only it until i bought other planes
