I am and have always been a knife collector. However struggling with Gulf War has taught me to appreciate good health or making the best of bad health, this led me to the modern-day world of knife collecting. This was my saving grace. I really enjoy learning about the new steels materials locks designs, and the new knives. Due to several strokes I had to relearn so much. I had to relearn many things. I decided to start this channel to show people my husky dog, and show my knives and do knife reviews and be a part of the knife community. So I hope you all enjoy Don Quixote and my knife reviews. In the last few months I have started understanding that I am Pleiadian starseed, Don Quixote is Nordic starseed. I'm new at this understanding, so you'll have to bear with me while I understand what I'm here for and how I help Humanity. I have this knife and I absolutely love it. The quality is surprisingly good real good actually. When I bought it they claimed it was S30v. Now I don’t know if it actually is but you are right it is hard to sharpen and my stones are fairly new. Definitely worth what I paid for it.
@garrisong I sometimes feel like D2 is a little hard to sharpen I don't dislike it but I do like 8CR 9CR 440 for their ease of sharpening and also like the American super steals obviously they're very easy to sharpen and they stay incredibly Sharp. But I'm glad it's not just me that had a hard time sharpening the steel. I like it and I have new DMT Stones as well. But still I do like the knife and I have it out right now because I carry it sometimes, it's so lightweight and useful I love it, if somebody wanted a small knife thats durable and didn't want to spend more than 50 I would absolutely recommend it! Honestly I like this carbon fiber a lot more than the G10 on the originals. I'm not against Benchmade but some of their knives are overpriced and these are definitely on that list for me.

@JollyPeanut I didn't know they ate ticks but now I even love them more! They're pretty cool little creatures. Mostly very docile. Me and My neighbor next door are feeding one that was getting into the trash. We are trying to befriend the little guy or gal.👍🏼🙂

years ago i remember theres a possum that comes to the house to eat...he sometimes eat with the stray cat that i feed, very calm and sweet
@mariedayrit2434 yeah they're really sweet creatures they're just generally not mean. The same thing in high school I caught one that the cat's cornered in the barn, I kept him for a few days and he would eat out of my hand and everything. Me and my neighbor next door were feeding one and hoping that we can befriend it but then another neighbor captured it and took it away and let it go. That was very disappointing!❤️🙂

I’ve seen possums before, they often mess around our trash. They’re so cute though, especially the babies. ❤
@wrldofscarli yes Scarly me and my next door neighbor we have one that's been getting into the trash, so we put cat food out for him, another neighbor further down put a trap he said he was going to take it off somewhere, which is sad but at least he's not going to hurt it. I had one for a short period in high school, we caught him in the garage, I could feed him by hand and he would grab it with his hand and eat apple slices or something. They're really cool. I let this one smell of me I didn't pet him because Don was barking. But I did let him smell of my hand. I love befriending wild animals I think there's no greater honor.❤️🙂

After searching for reviews of this knife found your channel. Found several other videos that you have done covering some stuff you do not normally see. So new subscriber here and thanks. I know it has been a while from this video but was wondering how the spring tension on the axis lock was. Kinda hoping pretty stiff given the blade. Thanks
@@markn.8621 it was pretty strong it did not have like a bearing pivot it was a little harder pivot but it's a very strong knife it just wasn't for me but I really love the company Trivisa and I'm glad somebody else is attempting to make big knives like Cold Steel used to make.

I appreciate your take. Keeping fingers down and unaggressive while keeping the blade relatively hidden sounds well thought-out. I carry a knife primarily as a tool, but any tool can be used defensively in a pinch. I know a man who went to jail for slashing a man across the abdomen during a fight and the resulting gore was enough to swing the jury against him, despite (what I hear, I didn't see it personally) the other man was the initial aggressor. You do what you must, but I think peripheral tendons might be more wise targets due to the potential for immobilization like you mentioned. Scrolled through and added a bunch of your videos to my watch later as well. Peace.
@rjg02005 yeah self-defense is one thing I'll take an ass whooping and I've taken a few in my life. I'm not going to hurt somebody just because I can't take an ass whooping, but if somebody I think is going to kill me or somebody I love then it's all bets off. And you're right I've had to carry a screwdriver before because that's the best I could have at the time, anything can be a weapon I believe I can live the rest of my life without ever having to use anything for self-defense. It’s got to be working if it’s got the dogs attention. Sorry, I just couldn’t resist 😂. I will place salt in a small container underneath my bed. You have to change it out every few days, and be sure to properly discard the old salt in the trash, don’t flush it, or put it down the drain. The practice is said to absorb negative energy and cleanse the area around your bed; of course, there is no scientific evidence supporting this claim, and there’s probably no way of proving it. However, I have found it to be helpful.
@LauraDiamondWise everything gets his attention he doesn't miss anything. Lol I don't know about negative energy but it sure makes you feel good when you put it in your body, your body needs it. But I wouldn't go put table salt in my body that's what gives bad health.
@@jerrydonquixote5927 ~ Indeed. The only thing I use table salt for are my rituals; otherwise, it’s Redmond’s Real Salt, sea salt, or the Celtic Salt you are using.
@LauraDiamondWise yeah Redmond is the one that I don't have but I've heard that's really good too! I'm really enjoying learning these things about apple cider vinegar with the mother and baking soda it's so inexpensive to get your health straightened out you know. Doctors a lot of times don't tell these things because they'd rather sell medicine for big Pharma.

It's all new to me too brother. I've only been doing it for a few days and I just love it! I'm learning about this and electrolytes olive oil garlic red onions there's so many healthy things that are just very inexpensive.
