Electronic Music & Creativity
Приєднався 22 вер 2014
Electronic Music & Creativity Academy is a project dedicated for teaching people to make electronic music, how to be a successful artist and how to open up your creative potential, how to stimulate your creativity, so you won’t sit around feeling as if you’re out of ideas. It is one thing to know your tools very well, but it’s another thing to know what to do with them. There is a limitless source of creative energy and inspiration. We have to figure out how to allow all this energy to flow through our minds and bodies. Join us on this journey, to be become a full, creative expression of who you truly are. We often think about people as ones who are creative and others who are just regular people. But that is a wrong way to judge people’s abilities. The truth is that every person is creative. The only difference is how much this particular person has revealed his power of creativity. Everything you do involves a certain amount of creativity. For example, I am using my creativity right
Don't buy gear before you start learning music production!
"When I buy a guitar, I'll be a rockstar". People say silly things like that, and in this video I rant about why this is a mentality that will get you nowhere and why there are no excuses to hesitate to begin learning right now.

Переглядів 174 тис.9 років тому
In this tutorial I show how to make dub techno chords with Korg Volca Bass synthesizer. It is monophonic, but there are two methods to play chords. The delay effect I'm using here is Ableton Live's Ping Pong Delay. Buy my Dub Techno Chord samples and loops: dubtechnochords.coldtear.com/ I make dub techno music under Giriu Dvasios name. How to use synths for beginners
Переглядів 2,5 тис.10 років тому
This tutorial shows how you can use synths to create all kinds of sounds, from drums to mellodies. It requires some basic Ableton Live knowledge. Recommended for beginners. Please have in mind, that you don't have to make your own hihat sound every time. I'm doing it just to show the capabilities of the synthesizer. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments. I might answer it ...

man, that was easy, simple, and sounds so great.
Ахуэнна🎉
Thank you 🙏
wow
The result is so great!
thanks
but is it necessary to connect an external delay?
Thats it!!!From a true legend******
thank you very much for this, I am very interested in learning music production and I got my PC and mic but I still lack motivation to actually learn at least in GarageBand. Investing in a midi keyboard is not worth it just yet. Thank you.
I have an E2 sampler (red version) and this advice is just SO useful! It's a sampler, so just use samples! It seems so obvious but you made it really clear and simple to understand. Many thanks and please keep up the good work.
why you press FUNK > STEP RECORD?? it can be with step only?
Отличный урок, спасибо
big up
👍
Super sonic kaip nori taip bet man vis dar sonikas labai palaikau ka darai ir vis paseku
smagu girdėt :) Ačiū!
Quality 🙌
How many chords can you play with active step mode and using all 3 oscillators? (This video there is only 1)
As many as you can program into the 16 step sequencer, but it's complicated and time consuming.
There is a new Dubtechno music vid up in my chan. It's really deeeeeep ;)
thanks for this best sound ever
I don't recall having seen this in other videos. Thanks for posting.
Do you need a delay pedal or some kind of delay to create that chord or can you just use the volca bass itself
To add effects, yes of course you need something additional, like a pedal, or you can connect volca bass to your soundcard and then add effects in your DAW
Can this be done with a volca nubass
great! I'm curious about modulations on drums and percussive elements.
You are a talented man! Guy . in vain he stopped shooting a video on working with sound in Ableton. It would be cool if you continued to shoot informative videos and can even do live broadcasts, maybe on Patrion .. well, or on UA-cam .. you can make money on this too. Think about it. Good luck to you ! :)
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your lesson .. I managed to get a good chord sound !!! Of course, I would like to add white noise noise to the Operator to sound like a squeak .. or something))) I will be grateful for advice on how to achieve this. Old man is very grateful to you! All the best to your home and success in your creativity! :)
Ahuienas tutorialas, dekui!
Great tutorial, I love theses dub techno sounds, could listen forever, so psychedelic :-)
Please turn the excitement down.

Beautiful and tasty
This is the best ES2 vid on UA-cam.
Reminds me of the chords from 'our time in liberty' Thanks for sharing
Awful breathing
Thanks! Make more of this best volca bass video so far
great tutorial, I had no idea it could do this!
Great man!
If using volca as a synth voice via midi the second method makes a lot of sense
My Volca Bass will only tune in increments of 2. Anyone know why this is?
I always unsync my delays. I find it more satisfying :)
super dope, thanks for making this
amazing!! respect
Great tutorial, really well structured. One question: will you be updating it for Live 10? The LFO filters on Operator have changed, there is no longer a "Low Svf" option. So I am not sure what to do here. Any help?
same
Nice
I'm not big into dub techno but certainly enjoy it every now and then, this is very interesting.
Well Done!
TOP!!!
Pure audio magic
Wow. Thank you. There’s so much I don’t like about this thing. But it’s small and portable
