Cheap Rocket 3665 2100KV motor test on 4S with max10 120a esc.
Besides the 3D printer part what is the cost to get one of these up and going
@@michaelvarman4484 Around $400 you could to get one up and going. I order most things needed from AliExpress.
Damn getting it I've been wanting one of these I mostly play with my arrow Trooper airboat in the snow I live in Alaska so one of these makes sense
Nice video What 3s battery would you recommend for this?
@@BIGRCgarage HOOVO 3s 3200mah 50C and Tattu 4s 1800mah 75C are The batteries I've used for the skeeride 2.
@@3dprintedrc142 ok thank you!!
Damn it go's
Wow, thats very good and so fast. Where can i buy this? Many greetings from southwest germany
It's a 3d printed snowmobile. Build it better is the creator and you can purchase the files.
Nice little hill there. Getting some good jumps in.
Thanks! I'm just amazed how smooth these run. You did an amazing job with this build. I'm going to be starting the skeeride 2 polar build soon!
They are awesome are they for sale??? I’m interested in purchasing one. Let me know I can install the electronics like esc and receiver and servos. I’m really interested and if you can print an original review I would purchase a Gen 1 also if you built them. Thanks Eric
I don't sell them.
@@3dprintedrc142 Thanks brother they are pretty cool. I may have to get a printer are they hard to work
@@tboystoys5682 It would be best to get a 3d printer and build yourself. Something will break and you would be able to print the part again.
I have a buddy who makes n sell them if ur interested
Got my last few parts printing as I type this. We have no snow yet, but a lot in the forecast! Cant wait! What motor / batt setup are you running?
Motor 3665 2100kv ESC Max10 120a Battery 4s 1800mah 75c
Nice i love mine
Looks great! What motor, esc and battery are you using?
Esc is a hobbywing max10 120a The motor is a 3665 surpass rocket 2100kv. AliExpress has them pretty cheap and they work well. The battery is a tattu 75c 1800 4s.
Thanks, much appreciated!
Looks sick are you in canada by chance
I'm located in the US. The little snow we got is gone.
Did you make this
Build it better is the creator and you can purchase the files to 3d print. I built this skeeride 2.
nice color theme... bumblebee :D
Thanks!
sweet set up !! 2400 kv work really well !! wat shocks u running in the from to make it so plush and smooth
INJORA RC Shock (90mm) a.co/d/c8JqOgu With longer printed spacers.

Esc is a mxl-6s Motor size 4276 2200kv

Looks like this sled works very well. I am just starting to build one and would like to know what make and model the motor and esc are please? Thanks
This one has a 3665 2400kv motor and a hobbywing quicrun 120a ESC.
@@3dprintedrc142 Thanks.....who makes the motor ?

@@3dprintedrc142 Thank You very much!
That's a fast little machine. Nice work!
what 4s you use??
4s Tattu 75c 1800mah
the color do not realy match but its cool anyway
When I know it's durable is when I make the colors match. I don't like to waste filament on parts that are going to be modified.
What are you using for driveshaft? Steel, aluminum?
I'm using a hardened steel drive shaft.
@@3dprintedrc142 How hard is it to work with? Like drilling and such
I milled a flat and holes with a CNC mill. I haven't tried doing it by hand.
wat kv motor u running in there
man oh man that thing rips what brand on pla+ are you using for your track. I got my skee ride 1 working great just keep blowing track parts off every couple batteries and also how do you keep the track inline on skee ride one...once again awesome job i love my skee ride!!
I've been using voxelab PLA+. I print with 1 wall 100% line infill 45% overlap. I made a rear sprocket for my Skeeride v1 to keep the track from sliding off.
whats the file name man iv have them all just not sure on the correct one...love your work by the way
How does the track hold up? Mine only lasted a couple battery’s what are you using?
I haven't had any issues with track. Mine is pla+ printed 1wall 100% line infill with 2mm stainless steel rods.
@@3dprintedrc142 thanks! is pla + a stronger filament?
@@ProjectInkDesignco It's not as brittle. It can flex more without breaking.
My V2 is being delivered today!! I’m so excited lol 😂. Durability kit for my V1 as well.
Nice! You'll have a blast!
Looks cool and seems like it performs but it needs a rider.
😆 Yeah I'll have to get a rider for it.
How do I get one of these I do not have a 3d printer like to know price
got my skee ride one finished about a week ago and the sled is a blast man great job. i would like to know what your running for a track because i cant keep mine together
My track is pla+ with 2mm stainless steel rods. I haven't had any issues with my track. I printed it with 100% line infill.
Is the track tpu? Your sled is pretty quiet.
It's a PLA + track. The Skeeride 2 is much quieter.
Very nice sled !! what kind of battery do you use? I bought a 4s which I thought was quite small but it does not fit
Tattu 14.8V 1800mAh 4S 75C You can get them on Amazon. It's the largest one that fits good. The 3S Skeeride 2 I'm able to fit a 3200 mAh in it.
You have been quick building it. It just got out a few weeks ago. Well done. Is this your first skeeride? Or do you have skeeride 1 too? And If so. Do they handle very different? I have number 1 and It is doing great. But 2 looks better so maybe I want that one too.
I also have 4 of the 1st Skeerides. The 1st one is more stable if you leave the Skeeride 2 original a arms on it. I made some modifications to my Skeeride 2 to make it more stable. After the modifications I'm starting to like the Skeeride 2 a bit more it runs nice and smooth. I just finished a second Skeeride 2 I'll run on 3s. When I get some fresh snow I'll get some video of it.
I want one. Whats it cost to build
Cool! are the LEDs on the top voltage?
Yes it shows the voltage. Funny in the video you can't see it very clearly that they're working.
Hello, could you tell me what you need to buy for this model?
The maker Build It Better has a complete list of hardware needed for this model.
i dont live in snow 🧐 but i want one
That's super cool. Looks like she got some speed to her too.
Very nice!
Thanks! You did an excellent job with the Skeeride 2! Fun build!
drive it harder, common.
I'll drive it harder when I get my 10mm belts. I only have two 6mm belts on hand that work.
What track is that?
Skeeride 2 track files A,B printed with PLA+ and used 2mm stainless steel rods.
@@3dprintedrc142 what length?
