tbh there is no such thing as black friday . the stores reduce week and week in advance to stop sites crashing and mobs and stores. its not like usa when its just the one day . plus you now can get great lego deals all year round

@ Yes, sadly I had to miss this one … but family always come first, even if it was annoying I’d spent all week prepping for it!! Also a shame, as could have given the tables to Iain but never mind it’s wasn’t meant to be!! Should have brought of those Speed Champs at £11.99 … very good price!!

@@snooplovesbricks Completely agree and as you know I’m taking a break from them next year … bored of the new “reseller” rather than the old “investor” … I really don’t see the point of trying to sell a set for £5/£10 profit!! But don’t get me started!!

i helped out at a charity thing on 26th nov old as in november old.. i have a dew carboot vids from november till now saved up as bootsale season over so ill have something to post for the lovers of my carboot vids

@@DavidPreston-l7k up to a price point yes over £500/600 sets dont got up and if they do they are hard to sell plus alot of cash risk in just one big set plus with lego doing there so called up yours to the reseller u might gut stuck if they bring back out like they did with disney castle ...death star etc

Agreed. Also Bob Igar and Kathleen Kennedy have done so much damage to the Star Wars and Marvel brand it is unbelievable. 2B losses on a star cruiser hotel that didn’t last 5 minutes. Millions of subscribers lost due to poor story telling (movies/shows) Have you seen WorldClassBullshitters Olly’s toy hunt videos? Millions of dollars lost in unsold merchandise for Star Wars and Marvel

They say Lego Star Wars works within their budget but how can you justify that be in a £32.99 budget. 🤷 Parents in this day and age are better off buying used grey and black bulk bricks, magazines and advent calendars on sale at last knockings to get the full Star Wars play experience.

thing is lego is being silly resellers and bricklink sellers are keeping lego a float

tbh reselling made these prices so idk if u can complain. Buying all the sets so normal customers cannot have them is driving prices up. It makes lego think they can just keep pumping them out and people will keep buying them meanwhile it is one 30+ year old buying bulk and reselling....

@@lukeswagwalker1435 this is where lego should use there brains they hate resellers but the bricklinkers and resellers are the ones that are plumping the money back in to lego not these odd buyers

@@lukeswagwalker1435 As The LEGO group purchased Brinklink.....I think they saw something us sellers have seen for a while and jumped on the bandwagon. Also, modern day Lego sets are HUGELY mass produced and very rarely do they run out of stock.....Thus, as I said (just what I do personally) I only buy sets when they are reduced (ie, shops trying to move old stock on)!

yes i rarely go to the lego store now .. not worth it even with the insider points it still not

@ Don’t mind a few GWP but it hasn’t really been the same when it used to be spend £25 and spend £50 on sets to get the GWP.

Also when you used to cut out the coupons out of the Lego wall calendar

@@Questionconfusion 100% the gwp were worth it but not when spend is £120 or £200 or even the use your inside points and still have to buy something to get it in a theme you dont really want
