Hot rod lincoln mark VII LSC . built 306 , trickflow heads and stage 2 cam, offy tunnel ram, 5-speed conversion, 3.73 posi, qA-1 k-member, etc.
I was just wondering what size wheels and tires you are running
Very nice what kind of brake booster are you running
Hi. I no longer have the car but it was a Mustang cobra brake booster.
Totally destroyed the car. Tunnel Ram???? 1973 wasn't their obsolete crap back.
Quick question, the tubular K frame and control arms used where the same for a fox mustang or did you have QA1 make the K frame and lower control arms?
That's fahkin' sick. whats it dyno or est. output? 1/8 or quarter mile times? Want to build an 85 Versaci mark 7. thx.
Thanks David. I never took the car to the track but had a blast with it on the street. I sold the car around 2 years ago but before I did I pulled the motor and put it into my foxbody mustang , which I still have. I put a milder 5.0 into the Lincoln and sold it to a guy that lives one town over from me. I haven't seen the car turn up at any car cruises since I sold it though. I hope it's still being taken care of. When I had it, it was one of the fastest ,most attention getting cars I ever owned. Good luck on your Mark VII project. They're great cars .
Besides the engine I really like the paint scheme and the wheels. Are those Mustang wheels?
thays a bad mother right there
Good to see someone actually use a Ford power plant to make a hot rod
Have any of u mark viiners done the maf convertion if so wats the 411 im trying get my done but dnt know the route
It's a Mallory unilite. It clears the Tunnel ram nicely and works well with the msd ignition box. If you search for my other video " LSC tunnel ram engine running" I think you will see it better. Good luck with your Tunnel Ram set up.
nice car, what kind of distribuitors is it, i have a 5.0 tunel ram but i need buy one distribuitors but i don't now which one is the correct
email me want to ask u a question xtremelincoln. com
how long did it take toy to do the t5 swap i have one fro my 91 fox body just haven't had the time to do the swap ?
Very different...nice job. Looks clean.
Thanks for the good words Ant. I just took the great foundation you built and took her to the next step. I credit you, disney, Nick T, Frank, Tommy, Landshark and all the other hardcore performance guys that used to populate FVC with stoking my interest in mark VII's back in the day.
God I miss this car! You have done some great things with her man!
NICE! DAMN COOL CRUISER! i never seen tunnel ram lincoln before! hell cool!
Your bird sounds like it's going to be awesome. Definitely post a video when it's finished. I've owned quite a few Pontiacs over the years. Mainly firebirds/Trans ams . But I also owned a super rare 1977 Can am. Wish I had still had it. Big fan of the ponchos.
your car is very cool, i recently finished my tunnel ram on my 69 firebird. she's all pontiac i have the competion carter 600's that i polished and rebuilt, they perform flawlessly except for the bad float i just changed out. no bog, sputter cough. just goes. now i need to step up the rear end, i want the 3.73's like you have also put in a stall too.. any how i;ll post a vid too......Tim
Thanks man!
that's one amazing looking mark vii
looks good.
Unfortunately an I-phone doesn't capture the sound very well. In person the car has deep "thumping" sound at idle. oh well....
@granadojl Hi. the rear wheels are 17 x10.5 with 315/40/17 tires. The front wheels are 17 x 9. I'm sorry but I don't recall the name of the wheel manufacturer. The front suspension is a QA-1 tubular k-member with coil over shocks. The rear suspension has coil springs with adjustable control arms. No more air ride.
Nice, real nice !!!
I agree with all the comments.. Real nice Mark VII What size wheels/suspension are you running? I'm looking for these wheels for my '90 LSC SE?
Thanks for the nice comments guys. This was the first time I've tried to video ANYTHING and wasn't sure it would even work. I'll have to do another one of the car with the engine running. It sounds killer. I just hope the sound comes across okay in video. The only thing I have to film with is my i-phone.
stop keeping this a secret, nice
That car kicks ass! Glad to see it's still alive and better than ever!
now thats f'n sweet.
