In my beloved country Pakistan there is no such SOPS for construction purpose, if either any SOP exist people don't comply with that so they construct houes on river beds and near streams
If you are an American I hope your comment applies to Americans who build their homes on cliffs in California or those that build in the low lands of Louisiana or in Florida right on the beaches. These people are as unfortunate as the smart Americans!
