If they are really distinct, then the difference is an extra-mental reality about God wherein there is an aspect of His essence that is unique to each person. Indeed, you refer to each person as a “member” of the Godhead. Members are parts, and real distinctions offset each person from the others. That's composition by definition.

The answer is no, they do not actually exist, but are useful in a linguistic framework. They do not exist in reality. They are mental conceptions. In summation your interlocutor would deny the existence of proper parts. Since there are no proper parts of God, God isn't composed of them.

If you read the book of Ecclesiastes you may overlook the context. Notice starting in verse 12 the author begins telling his story and what he perceived, what he experienced in life and how he interpreted man’s existence not what God perceives. For example let’s look at the specific verses that you referenced. My questions are as follows: Does no one have any further reward beyond the grave? Is all memory of them forgotten? Is there no further hope of life on earth? Doesn’t that contradict the Watchtower’s teaching that we can live forever in paradise on earth?”
