It's also worth mentioning Pretendo Network, which allows you to use Miiverse and play games online again. There are even custom Splatfests in the works!

My switch OLED was worth more than the other switches.
I regret skipping the 3DS and Wii U era, and now that the Switch 2 is rumored to possibly be coming out soon I've realized how much I regret skipping that era as well.
I Bought mine, Nintendo Switch OLED with SMB Wonder included, not planning to upgrade to Switch 2, im happy with my decision
I got a switch lite second hand, so I could play Mario Odyssey, Zelda totk and xenoblade 😂 I'm glad that switch 2 will support backwards compatibility ❤
It is actually! Since it has been 7 years onto thw lifespan, they're insanely cheap rn and they still have the leftover years during Switch 2, and even when that period ends, you can just hack it and push it to beyond its ends I see it as a win win tbh

my hacked switch I also use to emulate ds, psp and ps1 games- the most fun gaming device I have ever owned, especially being a busy person who is always out and about studying for college, commuting and so on

Look at its model number it should be something like CTR-001 (Original 3DS) or SPR-001 (3DS XL) you can find the number on the underside of the 3DS. After you get the model number just type "(Model number) battery" into google.

Why does the wii u recognise the windows 98 disc as a cleaning disk? And also What is a cleaning disk?
If it's the disc I'm thinking of it usually comes with little pads too clean the tray
