Groundwater flow simulation showing the decline and subsequent recovery from a 36 day test in Elwood, IL, at the old Joliet Arsenal conducted in 1942. To date, this is the largest such test of the sandstone aquifers in northeastern Illinois.

Does it matter how deep below the water the air line is?
Where did you get the gauge with depth reading?

What if the gauge is not next to the well. Would you add the distance between the gauge and well to what is inside the well?

Would I be correct in assuming that this pressure reading will change over time as the amount of water above the pump changes? In other words, would the air injection be required each time a reading is sought, or would a gauge reading reflect the proper "pressure" from this point forward?
