    Does it have a vibration alarm? Can you comfortably use it without connecting it to a phone? Thanks.

    • @valiversums
      @valiversums 34 хвилини тому

      Yes, it has a very strong vibration alarm. I use it as my regular alarm clock in the morning and its impossible for me to not wake up from this. And Yes, you can fully use the watch without phone connection. It tracks and saves everything on the watch.

    The battery life is great because the screen is monochrome and not very bright. Im not using it much for fitness and my last watch was a GT2 pro here are my likes and dislikes. DISLIKES: 1. expensive vs other smart watches. 2. Solar does nothing unless your out in brilliant sunshine all day. wear it in an office all day and it wont go up at all strap it to a LED lamp and it wont go up at all. 3. no onboard music storage. cant leave your phone at home and go out with a BT speaker or use with earbuds at the gym 4. cant set find my phone to a hotkey 5. Cant delete the 23 preinstalled watch faces none of which i use. LIKES: 1. Torch is good and powerful but unsure when you will use it. 2. track back is a nice feature 3. Vibration is very strong has warned me when i have walked away from my phone. 4. Watchfacebuilder website. this is the main reason i have kept the watch. It has allowed me to decutter the face and build it exactly how i want by copying parts of other peoples build. As im out a lot in all weathers my watch face is set up large clock small date in the middle of the screen. battery % at the top. temp in the window. current weather type along the bottom. Another face i made is similar but has next sun event so a time when the sun will set or will rise ideal for walking. 5. customisation. Allowing removal of items from the menus and activities this is nice because i dont wish to scroll through tons of unused items 6. Battery life. I have worn this 2 weeks so far and im at 71%. 7. Vs a leather strapped watch the fit is much more comfortable i used to wear my watch loose now it tight Both watches were bought used GT2 was £80 2x was £180 for the custom face and battery life as well as strong vibration is was worth it

    Thanks for putting together a review. It was interesting to hear about others’ experience. One thing that I don’t like about it is that it sometimes doesn’t sync with phone and there is nothing I can do about it, and then I just syncs for no apparent reason.

    The larger pot stand works with small pots you need to flip it over and put it on the stove…both stoves work best with a wind shield..,they will boil water much faster and use less fuel. Have fun stay safe.

      @valiversums 6 днів тому

    Thanks for sharing. There is a indent around the brass stove where you can use to prime in cold weather. Alcohol stoves always need a windscreen. Alcohol is safer for a spill because you can put it out with water. Use a pot coozy to cook you food off the stove. If you pour water over the stove to cool it down then use the snuffer it will go faster. It might even go out from the cold water being poured over it. Look into making yourself a "Fancy Feast" stove. They light very fast and start heating as soon as it's lit. Still need a windscreen 😁👍

  • @vespasian266
    @vespasian266 8 днів тому

    Keep your stove warm and keep the fuel from getting cold. In cold weather I'd recommend a trangia 27 all in one. burner stand and windshield. You can get lighter but its a good system that won't fall over and works as it should. Oh, poor some fuel on the lip of the stove, it lights easier and heats up the stove making it bloom much faster in cold weather.

    You should NEVER cook inside a tent. Fire risk, How do you get out, Carbon Monoxide etc

    • @valiversums
      @valiversums 9 днів тому

      I meant in the porch / verstibule of the tent, I do this with gas stoves, when the porch of the tent ist big enough. I would never do that with an Alkohol stove.

    Cook in a tent? Madness.... LOL maybe with a flameless heater. I am such a klutz I am bound to kick the stove over inside a tent. Maybe at a push in the vestibule.

    • @valiversums

    This why i made my own. You can use the alcohol one inside .especially for windy conditions. But i regularly use mine to grill meat plus a coffee after. I take half an hour from lighting to eating. And thats letting the steak rest for 20 minutes. I do it most weekends when my taxi clients are having lunch. ua-cam.com/users/shortsg_m2LNOg5zA?feature=shared

    Great review, thanks for that. I just ordered one for Christmas. I really like your description of it being a watch you can forget about. I have been wearing my Google Pixel 2 for the past year (I got it free with my Pixel 8 pro) and I am really irritated with it. Way too small (38mm) and I am constantly forgetting to charge it. I really don't like that I need to charge the thing nearly everyday. To have a watch I probably don't have to charge at all will be great!

    Da du Motorrad fährst, hast du Tipps wie man die beschissenen Windgeräusche reduzieren kann ohne sich ein externes Sound-Aufnahmegerät irgendwo hin zu klatschen?

    • @valiversums
      @valiversums Місяць тому

      Meinst du um stimme während der Fahrt aufzunehmen? Da kann man ein Mikro direkt im die Kamera im den Helm geben. Sonst um die Fahrt Geräusche aufzunehmen und den Wind zu reduzieren kann man eine „deadcat“ verwenden dafür braucht man aber auch ein externes Mikrofon. Ich löse es meist im Nachhinein im schnittprogramm mit rauschreduzierung und voice over.

      @@valiversums Okay danke. Dann muss ich mal weiter rumexperimentieren. Ja ich will einfach nur vernünftige Fahrgeräusche haben. Man hört nur Windrauschen und vom Motor gar nichts. Das ist ziemlich ätzend. Hatte auch mal ein Zoom Aufnahmegerät unter der Sitzbank aber jedes mal die Tonspuren angleichen und die einzelnen Geräte anschmeißen usw.. das ist mir einfach zu stressig.
