I only clicked this vid to post this comment, didn't watch it and won't watch any RACE or COVID content YT pushes on me. In fact, I report it to YT as harassment.

    I was taken to HR on a racial complaint by an (H1N1) INDIAN MAN working in the USA. First, he told me that I should be "home having babies and NOT taking a job from a man!". Secondly, he made a bitter complaint against me, for not accepting his terrible work (Engineering) and his Indian boss agreed to bring me to HR. I got a lecture on racial inequality, blah! blah! blah! the fact that the guy barely spoke English and never in the company of whites, and that he insulted EVERY woman working on the job, meant nothing to HR! Point being RACISM is the latest buzz word and ALL US companies are bending to this BS! regardless of the facts. SHAMEFUL!

      In theory equity sounds like same but in practice it is limiting. For example, under equity advanced classes and programs are eliminated. No, equity is not the route to go.

    • @kliop123432
      @kliop123432 2 роки тому

      @@marktevault57 Neither of those have to be eliminated under equity. In fact, having things like accelerated courses are a part of equity, since it allows students who are more knowledgeable in the basics to continue at a more appropriate level. For example, my high school allowed students who were already mastered the basics of Spanish to skip past the first course and go directly to Spanish 2. That's an example of equity because you're placing the student at a level that is based on their ability and knowledge.

I just was nominated into a position to represent on our company’s first diversity and inclusivity council. The clinic i represent is part of a large Fortune 500 hospital. I wish to use my white privilege to move toward more racial equity and help them also understand intersectionality. I need guidance as someone that does not have a lot of power in the structure other than being white though I have a lot of passion and motivation.
