Living on the Big Island of Hawaii and sharing the Aloha after the death of my husband in 2022. I live with my 16 Year Old Chihuahua, Frida. When she goes to the Rainbow Bridge I plan to move to Thailand. So it’s all up to her. In the meantime, I want to record Hawaii Island so that I can look back on her in the future and remember the staggering beauty that is Hawaii. Mahalo for joining me on this next part of my journey.

KOHALA/HAWI and KAPA’AU on THE BIG ISLAND of HAWAII

My 16 year old Chihuahua, Frida and I took a road trip up to the very top of the big island of Hawaii. We glamped in a tent with magical faerie lights and looked at beauty all around us. We visited the Pomaikai’i Cafe for brekkie and consigned many of our pieces of jewelry. We couldn’t be more grateful!

My chihuahua is turning 16 and we took a roadtrip to several beach parks to celebrate as well as a visit to the Manago Hotel and even the Punalu’u Bake Shop in Na’alehu for some yummy Malasadas!
