@@griffincallahan9886 my man, as a strand necrotic user, I was the same when I saw the trailer, like "wtf, why would I waste all of my meles at once lol", but after some buildcrafting it came down to this for now, I've got weaken/jolt fragment after this fight, so maybe I'll be able to make even more transcendence, ergo sum kills also extend it quite a bit, but I'm in love with monte carlo with this build for now, In energy slot is bxr with pugilist and incandescent.

Tho I must say, item has high skill cap, you can actually keep up both your melee and suspensions if you mark different targets.

he’s using an exotic primary to keep the build actually functioning. You’d be better off using Necro/Thorn if you want to actually play strong Prismatic setups. No point in suspending things you can just kill anyway. Moreso the best builds are the ones that don’t require an exotic to actually function. Endgame is always versatility>power. Mataidoxia falls off hard without an exotic to keep your melee charges up. When you don’t have a melee charge you don’t have an exotic equipped. Necrogrips works in synergy with your equipped weapon, those weapons are classified as pretty meta right now, and you can use it to build tons of Transcendance very quickly as opposed to Mataidoxia/Monte Carlo.

@@thebygoneking necrotics are my "main" if you can say so, and you have some good points there, if anything else, they are much economic and easier to use, however, why would you stay without a single charge when playing with Mataiodoxia? That one charge can net you alot more if used on big enemy before he dies, thats a big suspend, and every kill on suspended enemy refunds some melee. Also saying that you need monte for matadoxia to work and that's not good, then in same sentence saying that you should pair necrotic with thorn or striga is a bit weird. Anyway matadoxia is Immensely Fun, alot stronger on strand, and even stronger with wish keeper. Also, you said no point in suspending without ability to kill, suspensions explode with this item, do you see when I'm fighting ogre whom I can't suspend that I get vestiges of light? They are from enemies you probably haven't seen, far back, on the right side of the boss, so try item at least.

@@CrimsonReaper2501 The reason I value Necro/Thorn over Monte is that Monte serves no other purpose to the loadout than generating melee energy. It’s a low tier add clear weapon by exotic standards, and it doesn’t build Transcendance quickly at all. It exclusively serves the purpose of refilling melee energy. Thorn does a lot more. It’s a constant source of accessing your exotic combo, builds tons of Transcendance, is amazing at add clear, has direct synergy with unravel and jolt, while also just being a strong weapon for most situations all on its own. There’s also the benefit that you can a Necrotic class item with Star-Eaters for an amazing endgame raiding setup. When not using Monte, the uptime on the melee is inconsistent. It’s not fast enough to justify the exotic slot on prismatic compared to Artists or Solipsism. Your only source of suspend in Prismatic is your melee, and your melee of choice has the longest base cooldown of all melees in Prismatic Warlock (the longest melee cooldown of all warlock subclasses, and only shorter than Frenzied Blade on Titan Prismatic). You’re spending an exotic slot to access a CC effect on melee kills/hits that you could access by running Osmiomancy class items with coldsnaps or circumvent altogether by just killing things instead of jumping through the hoops to suspend enemies.

It's actually very precise by itself, you can push down or lift right stick on joypad if you want to correct it slightly.

@@dovod4413 it works(one shots) ACs and normal enemies, I only had problem with Enforcers hitbox, sometimes it shreds him, sometimes it looks like it's hitting, but does no damage. I'll test it more after I get some sleep. See ya buddy :)

hey, thank you! i prefer dual melee, but there are a lot of dual zimmermans in ranked, so shield can be life saver sometimes.

@@CrimsonReaper2501 To this point I finished the game twice (both endings) at age 20 and completed all goals. I gotta say, my cleanest combo was on Yang (Of course, I changed my whole playstyle just to beat him) I can't combo Jinfeng like that, except for the moments I got her stunned, yet I don't combo her too much, i throw a combo and mid way I throw her to the floor and ground pound because I don't actually know when the stun is over, I'd rather get some damage then get greedy and be countered when I try to get more
