Yeah, idk about the 2nd one. Letting your co workers know what you're making when you have the same job can give one of you the leverage you need to get a raise. It's obviously up to you, but I don't think it's a big of a deal as this guy makes it out to be. Now if you're making a ridiculous amount of money and you're talking to a friend, probably don't disclose that. But again, the choice is yours. And ultimately has nothing to do with stoicism.
