You would never expect a Square Body pickup, even a short box, to outhandle a Trans Am. Maybe outrun it if it had a 454, but never outhandle it. Driver's sure did. It cornered like it was on RAILS.
I always wondered about the corners. I would have bet money the back end would break away. The C10 had a 454 in it. It must have handled like a scalded cat.

Yes, Hickman did the driving for both films. Bullit being from the late sixties and The Seven Ups being from the early 70's, the hair styles changed and so did the sideburns. He was also in The French Connection.
I am a Desert Storm Veteran (I'm old now) and I too went through enough of the US Armed Forces crap. The real irony is, they expect us all to join healthy and fit and ready, only so they can permanently screw us up later!

Watching this is not just about the carnage between two cars, but also how badly the government and other countries decimated the traditional American car. Yeah, drivers that have the green light always make timely stops so the other guy can run a red light. Lastly the girl in the chase truck acts like they're just looking for a parking spot downtown.
