Williams Lane Craig has great patience . Having debates with people who don't let the opponent speak and he practically didn't let WLC talk and he stole part of his time .

  • @philipsmith1990

Craig starts with a contradiction. He postulates a being that creates the universe but the universe by definition includes everything that is and so must injclude that being if such exists. The being is apparently eternal because otherwise there is the same problem of how the being came into being. It follows that this model implies that the universe is eternal. Craig several times rejects other explanations and so god is the best expolanation. But god is no explanation just an unsupported assumption.

Krauss is profoundly ignorant. He speaks as if he knows the nature of reality which he obviously does not. As a physicist what he does know is the nature of matter the elemental. The nature of forces in their totality is not known yet; consciousness, mind, magnetism are total mysteries. Yet Krauss can explain it all for us? People are religious for a reason and the definition of religion is that to which we are bound. It is like the Behaviorists who in the last mid-century tried to hijack the nature of reality, including the human to be subject to and limited to the elemental. That notion was roundly defeated, although it trying to raise its ugly head again in the philosophy of Patricia Churchland; whose philosophy is that all that matters is matter; our origin; our destiny; our deity. It is as if the Cosmos does not exist; Churchland’s is a worm’s eye view rather than a bird’s eye view of reality. Getting so tired of these ideologies; read the great Theologians; Philosophers and Psychologists; before the latter became mired in matter and lost their minds.

1:55 : 3:33 Just starting out in this video you can witness the arrogance and lack of humility Lawrence Krauss has. 1:20:15 This whole topic of the Canaanites shows that William Lane Craig is debating with someone who truly doesn’t want to learn. 1:41:15 Krauss just proved the science communities biases and ignorances. Religion was taught back then with many scholars being religious, correct, and society does not teach religion now… Summary: Lawrence Kraus lacked humility, respect, and professionalism from beginning to end. If you want to make claims on intellectual superiority then you should do the research on both sides. Kraus did absolutely nothing to prepare for a true debate. This was entirely opinion based from his biases and lack of biblical knowledge. In my opinion, and I think many other theologians would agree, without Gods laws, Gods morality, and Jesus’ building principles on each of those through love, humility, respect, we would all be as arrogant and careless as Lawrence Krauss, living on his own moral compass.

A few decades back they asserted that mankind started just 4000 years ago, now they say that this whole fable pf Adam and Eve is just a concept to prove a point. Now, they wish to co-exist with science but cannot swallow the pill of truth that science keeps unraveling right in front of their jaundiced eyes.

Krauss essentially proved WLC's position with his opening speech and wasnt even aware of it. Even the email snippet very first line backs up WLC. The "proof" of God isn't concrete, and WLC never claims it is. Instead he argues that the logical reasoning based on the physical evidence provides a stronger argument in favor of God than against. Note: which religion has the right answer is another topic entirely and is irrelevant to the topic, which again WLC said in the first debate

I believe they both had their fair points and mistakes/fallacies. Krauss should probably work on his anger issues more than his science/logic. But I still believe Dr. Craige easily won this debate if there were points given. However, how Dr. Craige explained that killing the children was morally fine is a disaster and probably his only mistake. Prof. Krauss was right as he said that's exactly what Bin Laden thought when the flights hit the towers (according to that same moral theory that Dr. Craige presented).
