2:44 I'd say "distros" for completely seperate things (basically the only thing they have in common is distributing Linux together with packages that make it usable as an actual OS) and "flavours" for when it's just variations of the same distro, like Ubuntu vs Kubuntu vs Lubuntu etc. But Fedora's "spins" is also a good suggestion for that.

If you wanna talk about how cool the little save icons were for the PS2, some of them actually had special animations if you go to delete them. For example, Devil May Cry 1's save icon was Trish just kinda doing her thing. But if you tried to delete her, she'd get on her knees and start crying. Its one of the cutest guilt trips I've ever seen.

That aside, the idea that the KH1 Hollow Bastion was originally used as a fight for one of the Org members has never left my brain. I'm sure it was just a beta thing while they developed the true Hollow Bastion world, but I am so curious what that scenario was. Like, who was it gonna be? Was it gonna be a real fight, or just an extended chase scene? Or was it Riku just leading Sora somewhere? I wanna know what the purpose of that scene was!

Btw that roxas sora "fight" does happen in the original with all the samurai. When they clash, it immediately goes to their hearts and the cutscrne fight occurs. In final mix, the clash in the real world immediately shifts to the fight and then the cutscene fight when you win.

The deep dive trailer for kh2 was so awesome. To this day, that trailer theme is still one of my favorite themes of the series.

Finally, a fellow Tekken 4 enjoyer. That game felt like it best capitalizes on what I love about Tekken. 7 and 8 are sick as hell, but there's a certain charm in how 4 attempted to make the games feel more realistic that Namco just didn't do anything with.

Hate to say it, But you make an emuator that is of current gen. Don't be surprised if you get sued or shut down.... Like it's not even a hard concept, you are literally making Piracy of New products available. Not even the "Preservation of games" defense apply here. like, just wait a Gen till Nintendo stops carrying and Join the Project64 and Dolphin emulator Club of using an emulator that probably won't ever be shut down cause Nintendo couldn't care less.

Another great thing about emulators is being able to experience online games for games/consoles that no longer get supported. And all done by people who are just passionate about the games they love

Ryujinx is toast just like Yuzu. Whatever happened in their private conversation, those who were privy to details have given enough confirmation to people they trusted not to leak it, that it's the same kind of "agreement" as the Yuzu "settlement", AKA a contractual guilty plea. Plenty of people claimed it wouldn't be an issue because, ya know, it's not like Yuzu where they went to court and pussied out, it's MIT licensed so anyone can just continue development -- Yeah no. Shortly after people started spreading the news about the deal over DMs, a bunch of ryujinx forks like newjinx panicked and 404'd because they would have been sued. Yuzu screwed the pooch for all of us, and Nintendo is on a rampage. This is going to keep going until someone Nintendo sues wins against them.
