Great video. Very enjoyable. Wonder collection. RS. Canada
Do those super old Parker inks still perform well? Very nice pen collection, BTW!
I didn't try them, some people only writes with vintage inks. Thanks for the compliments but I know your collection is insanely bigger.
@@amansjourneyinlifeinavlog9281 I have about twenty-five fountain pens but they're not expensive fancy ones like yours.
That's a beautiful bag and a quality collection. Well done
Quality over quantity any day! Beautiful collection! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you
Sir . shell you send wood pen for me.
very nice, cool inks!
Thank you
Very sick collection! my next fountain pen will be for sure one Nakaya, a piece of art! Keep it with a good work!
For a “caveman “ you have definitely started out at the high end of fountain pens collecting. Currently (Jan.2022) the Nakaya Pens you have are in the $1000.00 USD. range equipped with the dragon or Panda stopper. Mont Blanc is....well even more. Excellent choices. Beautiful pens.👍👨🦳🇨🇦
Thanks
I guess this wonderful pen ist a result of a cooperation between Ferrari and Cross 🤔
Yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, we can't afford a ferrari car, only the pen. Haha
@@amansjourneyinlifeinavlog9281 only the wonderful pen 😊
Nice Video thanks 🥰
Thank you, Sir. I wish you a belated merry christmas and may you have a prosperous new year!
@@amansjourneyinlifeinavlog9281 think you very much Sir. You too I wish you also all the best for the new year 2022 💐🌹⚘🌹
Nice
hi there, what botique is this? they have only 9? Shortage??? How????
I would like to explain why. This is only my presumption on the reasons why. First of all, we are a third world country. There is probably a bigger boutique, in the capital. Since we are not in the capital city, we have a very small boutique for grand seikos in our city. I don't think there is a shortage.
@@amansjourneyinlifeinavlog9281 That would have p...ed me off because I do not want G.S going through the same issues that Rolex is going through. Thanks for the video-what do you think of G.S anyways?
@@Joe-xo3xy I really like it, but the cost of buying one is costly. I'm confuse between spending money on a grand seiko, a rolex or buying a fountain pen, as I am just an average man and can't afford the buy all of these three at the same time. A grand seiko here, in our city is nearly the cost of a rolex. I like the snow flakes, spring drive but it cost 312,000 Pesos ($6,191) current exchange rate as of Dec. 03, 2021
Lovely collection. Yes, picking up a Bic is less work. That's why the younger generation likes it. They have no time, patience, esthetic, or interest for these beautiful objects. They are indicative of the Art of Writing. Something the culture is losing quickly.
I don't know, if you can call it a collection. When I only have 4
Nice...how did you get all these Parker quink bottles..? Are they dried up or not..? Thanks
Most of the bottles are full and very few are half full. I bought it from an old bookstore. I was shocked beyond disbelief, that there are still new old stock (nos) quinks for sale, at this time and age. Needless to say, I bought all of them.
@@amansjourneyinlifeinavlog9281 i would have done the same as you did..buy all the vintage inks ..enjoy 🙂
Honestly, when your collection is Montblancs and Nakayas, four is just fine.
Thank you for the comment. I want to buy more but due to budget constraints, I can't.
Is the Malaya briar wood with the panda the light or dark one?
The panda is the light briar
Thx for the Infos 💐⚘❤
May I ask you something? Are you also into watches?
@@amansjourneyinlifeinavlog9281 hallo Fountain pen and watches 😍
@@fritcho5jo643 That's good to hear! Care to you show your collection with us?
May I know where did you buy the Montblanc 146? I'm from Cavite. Thanks.
I bought mine from an authorized dealer, I believe there is authorized dealer in Metro Manila.
Beautiful pens and I enjoyed hearing your backstory including you gifting a waterman to a stranger, how nice of you. I have mainly lower priced pens like kawecos as I do like the small bucket shape. I recently bought a Mont Blanc classic fountain though as Mont Blanc has sentimental value to me going back to when I first graduated from uni and received a ballpoint as a gift, which I still own, now over thirty years old.I love the first one you shared, the smaller one.
It started when I was younger and went into an online forum. A girl/woman asked the people inside the forum, if any one wanted a fountain pen. I said "yes". She asked me, my address and my name. She then sent me 2 fountain pens, albeit inexpensive ones, she even included some ink cartridges. I was dumbfounded, I didnt know there are still some people like that in this world. I reciprocated by paying it forward. Giving away, my first and only fountain pen at that time, although, mine was not inexpensive but not very expensive either.

Nice fountain pen and ink collection! And happy to meet another Boheme collector :) Bai, just wondering are you from Cebu? We have a healthy group of fountain pen collectors in Cebu. There's also a very healthy Filipino community of fountain pen collectors in Facebook. Fountain Pen Network - Philippines around 11k members :)
Bisaya bai, but not originally from here. Came to study.
Very nice video thx
Thanks, didnt know it was. Since I am not a professional videographer and the camera used is just a phone. Such a great compliment.
The Chinese name on your Nakaya Briar wood pronunciation is "Chung Win-Te"
Thank you for the translation, I appreciate it.
What is the translation in English?
@@georgeluke1883 Hi George, Just a person's Chinese name, and it's very possible the name of the previous pen owner, Chung is the last Name and Win-Te is the first name
Your collection reinforces my conviction that there is no substitute for quality; they are great pens. An aside: I bought a damaged Boheme to repair. I found that I could fit a Montblanc converter and the pen works perfectly. The Montblanc converter has a threaded nipple, like a Schmidt K-6, and screws in to the section. I had tried a couple of "universal" converters, without much luck
I have not tried any other cartridges aside from that of montblanc, for fear of damaging the pen.
Great collection! Honestly, four fountain pens is the perfect number.
Thank you, for the comment. I wanted more than four, actually. But there is such a word called "budget constraints".

Where can I find the dragon nakaya
It's a stopper add-on when you order straight from Nakaya. Check the Nakaya website under stoppers. The Dragon is a $200 custom adder for any of the Nakaya designs.
Already ahead of you just ordered yesterday but thank you
Try also Platinum pens, with japanes pens there are no mistakes.I haven't used my Nakaya, for one year (it had catridge inside and I was worried that it will dry) and it started writing instantly. Platinum is "older sister" of Nakaya and it is cheaper, but the nibs are very similar if not the same. I like your stopers, specially panda. I have dragon with ball on mine. Can you tell me about Nakaya briar is it gloss or mat, dark or light, I can' tell from the video. And from whom you bought Nakaya? I bought mine from Sakura pen galery,Belgium.
I bought my Nakaya pens, directly from Nakaya via their online store. One is briar light and the other one is dark, both are glossy. One has characters written on it. All Nakaya employees are ex-Platinum employees. I want to try Italian pens for my next purchase. In the Philippines, there are no Italian pen stores, so I have to source it some where else. Problem is, I have no money to buy the Montegrappa revolver or the samurai.
@@amansjourneyinlifeinavlog9281 I like your collection and enjoyed the review. If you are interested in Italian pens you could try some produced by Santini Italia (he makes spectacular in house nibs, and you can ask for special nibs). Also you could try an Aurora, who also produces pens with in house nibs. All the others Italian producers, I believe, actually do not mount in house nibs. I believe that if you want to use a really Italian pen, then it has to mount an Italian heart, that is the nib, for a fountain pen. Thanks for the review.
@@diegocatalanoferraioli6557 Since, I am new in this fountain pen world. I have not heard of Santini Italia. I searched about it in the internet, and will consider buying it in the future.
Impressive collection, sir! I certainly hope youre writing profusely on a daily basis with those older inks. More over in the hopes none of them have mold in them. Ive had a couple mold on me resulting in me gifting 75% of them away to whoever I knew who uses fountain pens. Im now satisfied I didnt hoard them in vain because they all have a happy home. Best wishes!
I write with my fountain pens for my 2 journals. Saving money to buy more fountain pens in the future. Regarding the vintage inks, some bottles have molds inside but most of it, there are none. Can you share your collection with us?
Nice collection
Thank you KG, are you also into pens? Can you share it with us?
You should keep the “dumb” watches separate from the “smart” watches... to avoid infecting the “smart” watches 😂
You are right, the omega should be in another watch winder. Have to save money to buy a new watch winder.
Whoa!!
2nd design👍
