Wemt to ETC just over 9 years ago, greatest thing I've ever done. 9 years with TAP Electric. Fiber Optic specialist. High voltage, 3rd rail caldwelding. Circuit breaker houses. 2000 kcmil cable, shielded and Unshielded. Data/comm , also have done a lot of residential besides industrial. 5 year apprenticeship completed through TAP. I have learned a helluva lot. And it wouldn't have happened without ETC. My name is John Longinotti. Thank you guys!

thanks for the content. However you wrote 3382 instead of 33821 when adding up your loads on the white board. The answer is correct, just not the math you showed on the board.

Unfortunately, mr Salvatore you are wrong if you look at 128.75 amps that you got is not a standard size based on Table 240.6 you will have to go to the next standard size available being that 150amps your wire size in this case on the 75 degree column will be 1/0.

So I can break that site up to two 200 amp panels, and I would be golden? Seems a bit of a stretch. I understand, but it can't be THAT simple. the demand factors are based on what equipment?

Is there any way without any expensive tools of telling whether or not the freon is still inside the unit? I found one i wanted to take apart to scrap for copper and aluminum but I stopped breaking at down before compromising any of the pipes because luckily at the best time imaginable i learned that its illegal and dangerous to release freon, i wanna continue breaking it down it seems old so im not sure what to do or if theres even freon inside

Cioa, Salvatore. According T240.6(A) breakers size billable on the market are - ..., 125A or 150A. So, what is the justification for using one over the other, according to NEC2020? Graze Mile!

What should the "TT" setting be on if you operating a furnace with a programable thermostat (ecobee) be set on? My configuration has an internal jumper. If I'm reading the instructions properly I should set it to "Yes" with no wires connected to "TT".
