That's true but are you gonna hit 155 on stock electrical? Maybe but how reliable will that system be?

@@groundshakersociety6637 when you pull the meter into the mix you've lost the battle before you even started. You can have a strong reliable system doing 155+ and it can sound like shit.

@@ColdVenom159 except this one doesn't sound like shit. But I still agree, there's a guy around me hitting 150 on 2 salt 4ks. Can't demo too long before stuff starts to heat up

@@groundshakersociety6637 the fact you think you can tell how a system sounds based off mic distortion says enough.

@@groundshakersociety6637 there's also a big difference between giving a demo and burping. Giving a demo isn't pushing a system to it's limits. Things heat up due to many things out of tune low voltage pushing to hard in most cases it's burping and clipping.

They'll take 4k a piece of clean power with no problem.

I just got myself an MD12K, gonna keep it at half ohm, but I would've definitely like to try the V2's. If I don't clip these subs will eat that 8k up

@@toxictator4561 yup, I'm an airport firefighter which means I'm around jets with super loud engines on a daily. I already have tinnitus, and loud music is my escape from reality. I'm in the middle of a rebuild now with 1 18 in a 6th on 12k. Hoping to get at least 150 from it.

Hi any videos show how your tune your amplifer?

@saolelejrsaolele7271 I tuned set the crossovers from my radio pioneer nex 1500 set the lpf for the mids to 100 hz -24db and pretty much gave it full signal above 100hz set the hpf on the Amp around 10k hz. Tuned the Amp with 1khz test tone turned Amp up slowly till clip and backed off till clip light was off. But for the horns I had to tune buy ear cut they were really loud and I forgot what Amp I had on those.

Had them on a smart 3k and it was having a problem so I played it with the gain all the way down to test it and let out the magic smoke. I can still abuse these things on this amp too.

Yea it's like the want more power. In this video they were pretty hot from this south Carolina weather so I didn't go up too much on the knob. This stetsom 8k is a great amp too definitely got them moving. Did you have a problem with your rear window too? I'm trying to think of a way to keep them shut

haha. seeing something like this. I just found this channel. I'm assuming this has been a long time coming? resonates with me cuz I been waiting since December of 2021, that's when I started tearing my car apart. ordered a psi sub in January of 2022, didn't get it until December of that year... and now, April of 2023 all I'm waiting on now is paint job on the sub box and the sub goes in.. going on 2 years waiting and I'm 🤏 SO MF close lol

How does an MD12K sound

Yessir, I'm gonna tear out everything here pretty soon so I can sound deaden the whole entire truck and probably reseale the rear glass because I can hear that hitting against the truck. Probably some thicker door seals to help stop the doors from flexing out.

@@groundshakersociety6637 cool man yeah it's good to go all out with deadnig and bracing. I need to figure how to stop the back metal under the rear window from flexing. I'm probably gonna bolt and screw some sheets of plywood cut to fit that should help my case alotsince I only have one layer of kilmat.

@@deltabasspounder oh yea some wood bolted to the back wall will fix that I even hear bolting the box to the wall stops flex but that's the only thing flexing right now

Right now they're on one of the HA1500.1, I have another but I'm waiting to get more batteries and install my second alternator. Everything is kind just slapped together right now, I plan on running both at half ohm.
