Stars at Villa Park
My Villa Park has been visited by some illustrious Villans over the period of its build so far. Peter Schaad from the Holy Trinity Show popped by during his Aston Villa tour in 2023. Villa legends Brian Little and Kenny Swain along with Just 14 and Just 15 author Andy Dale came along in November 2023 also. Hoping to have many more famous Villans as the build and the new permanent home for the model progresses.

Champions League match 3 and Aston Villa face Italian Serie A opponents Bologna. Goals from John McGinn and Jhon Duran give Villa a 2-0 win and take Aston Villa to the top of the Champions League just 2 days before Unai Emery’s 2 year anniversary since joining our wonderful football club. An absolutely remarkable achievement.

I was privileged to be asked to take part in this Camel TV production about my beloved club Aston Villa. Talking about the magnificent Holte End. I may only have got 30 secs but it was a honour to be part of Villa’s history in some minuscule way.

I began building my Villa Park in May 2020. I hope to finish it by the end of 2025. It comes in 5 modules. The 4 stands and the pitch. The floor space is 10ft 8 x 7ft 7. When it is complete it will have 2 working video screens, sound effects of the crowd both home and away. Mini cameras fitted around the stadium and lighting to create the atmosphere of a night game. European Football beckons for Aston Villa. The final match of the season is upon us and qualification for the Europa Conference League and its in our hands. If we beat an impressive Brighton who have already qualified for Europe and we have done it. Waiting for us to slip up were Spurs and Brentford and they both won.

Villa park is the adopted name via history. The actual name is the lower grounds and was previously a victorian menagerie until villa moved in 1897 from Wellington road. They are a blue plaque club denoting they are a founder member of the football league via the chairman at the time William Mcgregor. A former European cup winner and a super cup winning both cups with a 14 man squad. 7 FA cups. 5 league cups. And the story continues. UTV.

Great video, but may I ask why you put both hands on the table? The regulation expressly prohibits it...
I play solo. So therefore make my own rules for solo play. Also it’s not so easy to reach across a pitch without using both hands especially as it surrounded on three sides my stadium. But of course in competitive play your absolutely correct about the rules.

Are the teams pre-set?
Teams are fictional names based on villages from where I live. I play all the games myself but show some of the games on UA-cam and also match reports of all games on my website. I ran it several years ago and gained a lot of interest.
You'd think Prince William wouldn't have this much time on his hands.
